2 hours of air

Dark red fruit; fresh and dense. Chambolle elegance. Deeper than I expected. Good lift and structure. Attractive and enticing. Sappy. Delicious and ready but no rush.

Quite modern and forward with moderate oak treatment. Good purple and dark fruit purity but not fully showing grand cru weight yet. Surprisingly approachable, and it was fairly balanced for a ripe vintage. A wine that emphasized on fruit purity.

PnP and drank over many hours

The color is murky (unfiltered?), but nose is quite pungent with flowers, spearmint, and bright red fruit. Penetrating with great lift, this is approachable and great today but clearly will improve and relax. Striking and Long lush finish. Very nice acidity.

This was really nice tonight with an abundance of light, delicate, almost lacey, red and blue fruit that showed really good depth and concentration despite its light bodied mouthfeel. Firm minerality and sous bois undertones finish this one off. What a delight for a village level burgundy.

Stood up for a month, double decanted off 2oz both fine and large sediment. Light ruby, age-appropriate bricking; aromatic with plenty of savory notes, umami, dried violets, tomato leaf; palate is light bodied, low-medium alcohol, medium-plus acidity, mature red cherry fruit, strawberry, some savory mulch/forest floor, dried berries, fully integrated tannins; medium-long finish, well balanced. This is an excellent, mature, grand-cru quality red burgundy, showing excellent balance with some tertiary maturity but also with the right amount of freshness and fruit. I would start to drink through my bottles in the next few years, though it may last a bit longer than that. 93-94
Consumed over 3 hours: Retained vibrancy, freshness, and great character throughout. Did not really improve, but did not decline much until the very end. Not sure the last half glass will be as good tomorrow, but really lovely with a salmon dinner tonight.

Again, among the finest Les Fuées I have had the pleasure to drink.
My sixth bottle of this truly amazing wine.
Somewhat more closed than previous (in a bit of a phase or "tunnel" perhaps?)
Still, an unmistakable nose that you simply can't go wrong on if you had this wine before.
The pine needles and lovely wild and green herbs along with the dusty minerals and red airy flowers are as present as ever.
The palate a bit more closed down than back in 2016, less peacock tail, but still extremely sexy and complex.
A cooler vintage with airy and perfumed red strawberries, wild strawberries, lovely minerals and spices.
Superb length, silky still very balanced with power and acidity.
With time some first signs of tertiary maturity shows, some wet leaf's, tobacco and tea.
433 bottles made, I have had the pleasurer to drink 6 of these, and I feel so lucky to still have a few more tucked away.
Next bottle in 2025?
Such a great and sexy Chambolle this is!

Ripe, powerful, dark fruit. Those old vines are really make their mark here and they still deliver remarkable concentration. Decanted and with time it opened up but might have benefited from 2-3 more hours to really mellow it out. This is such a different wine from the other Richemone cuvee from Perrot-Minot which is so graceful and elegant and gentle. Best suited for a wintery and meaty dish.

Super Bowl LVIII 2024 (Alpharetta, GA): Tasted double blind: Sexy red cherry fruit. Fresh acidity. Vein of minerality lingers on the finish. Great nose and very long finish. I thought it was older than it actually was calling it 1999 or 2001. I called it from Clos Saint Jacques.

Can confirm with a few other reviewers here, there is no rush to open these.

1 hour decant, it was open right out of the gate. Dark raspberry, wilting rose petals, a little tar and well rounded baking spice as well. Very deep and complex wine.

Tannins were cranked up on this bottle, and the acids were still lively and fresh. This bottle had it all. perhaps just missing a little concentration and a long finish, but very difficult to critique.

A wonderful wine, first day, open the bottle and waited one hour, wine in the glas, nice pinot with some edges, waited another two hours, no change.
second day, still half bottle left, now pinot near perfection, nice fruit, light acid, wonderful.

Medium ruby red with pinkish-orange rim. Unripe redcurrant, candied cherry, raspberry, strawberry, Mediterranean herbs, hint of game and tobacco, cedar, black tea, and potting soil. Medium-full bodied, medium silky tannin, medium-high structure, medium alcohol and long finish. A little feminine for a Griotte-Chambertin, but nevertheless possessed the elegance and subtle power of a Grand Cru. Velvety texture on the palate.

I believe this bottle still needed more time in cellar, given the candied red fruits notes that I got, and also the freshness despite 13 years of physical age at time of tasting.
