Légèrement tuilé à l'oeil, le nez donnait sur la prune et le tabac. En bouche le fruit (prune confiturée) était encore bien présent, on pouvait aussi percevoir le tabac. Les tannins étaient très bien intégrés, soyeux, le tout superbement bien rendu. Finalement il était à son apogée. |

Loved the bouquet, more fruit than expected with a hint of leather and smoke, very nice. very long, slow legs, beautiful in the glass. Surprisingly fruity for a chianti with virtually no tannins, very smooth and very, very tasty, more complexity than any other chianti I have had with no acidity present. More bottles will be in my cellar very soon! |

There are some sour cherry notes, but they are very subdued. Soft tannins, medium acidity and unbalanced alcohol (13.5%). Not really impressed. |
