Fruit-forward with fresh oak, figgy and ripe. Violet, cherry jam on the nose. On returning to the glass some eucalyptus and a herbal complexity starts to emerge. A touch of bitterness alongside ripe red fruit on the palate, lots of ripe tannin and decent length on the finish. This is a big, friendly vintage which wants to please- really appealing and on this showing will benefit from 5 years or so |

Soft tannins and punchy acidity. Great by itself, but I'm guessing great with food, too (braised lamb shanks over pasta, later). |

You know: red cherry, medium bodied, earthy notes. The color of th wine is starting to recede from dark red to that aging amber. Bra struktur med syra och tanniner som med lite tid i källaren kommer att integreras med aromerna av mörk frukt och körsbär. Det finns ngt lite unikt i denna som påminner om läder som gränsar till svag, svag stallighet (absolut inte brett dock). Mycket bra. |

With air the oak note disappears, leaving a somewhat rich wine, but there is no sweetness, or over ripeness. This is pretty good, and it should drink well for a long time I think. |

11/29/2022 - Bottle Dog Likes this wine: 94 pointsSlightly ruddy garnet, and I expect will darken beautifully over time. Gorgeous fruit nose of red fruits, roses, almost a candy floss. Smells of awesome Sangiovese. Medium body, and lighter than expected on tannins, but what there is, is super fine. Med to high on acidity gives a great juiciness to the wine and provides loads of lingering taste. Super well balanced. This is after PnP, expecting to be awesome after decanting. Trying now after 1 hour, and massive improvement. Superb, but still young. Try not to drink for a couple of years. |
