10/2/2019 - Jammy Wine Likes this wine: 92 pointsThe Arnaud Ente has a sweet and seductive fragrant that grabs your attention right away. Scented pure citrus and white orchard fruits with sesame oil oak spices. Great precision and purity. Light Premier Cru weight. An aristocratic Meursault. (92+/100) |

8/24/2019 - _water.into.wine_ Likes this wine: 95 pointsServed blind, so you cannot be positively or negatively influenced. This was a delight and totally blew us away when we realised this was 'just' a bourgogne; easily the best bourgogne I have had, and better than the Leroy I tried recently. Pale on colour. Piercing. Acidic. Pure. Little oak. Stone and minerals. Bit of flint. Just lovely. Served by TL at VO birthday |

9/7/2019 - glou.sf Likes this wine: 95 pointsLots of reduction on the nose with flavors of apples, herbs, and a feel of richness. Good acidity with citrus, green apples, lime, a hint of honey, and oily texture on the palate. Long finish. An excellent wine, although the reduction is a bit too much right now. Would be interesting to try in 5+ years, but given the price I probably won't... |

2013 Arnaud Ente Meursault 1er Cru Gouttes d'OrChardonnay more |
9/7/2019 - Jammy Wine Likes this wine: 93 pointsAn incredible experience to taste the 2013 Arnaud Ente Meursault 1er Cru Gouttes d’Or, the best wine of Arnaud Ente. Tasted along with 2012 Coche Puligny Montrachet Les Enseignères, where the Coche grabbed our attention right away with its struck match reduction. In contrast the Ente took its time to express its true self, the purest form of Meursault minerality, expansive yet incredibly well balanced. Refined tree fruits with crystalline purity and creamy elegance. Great energy and tension. (93/100) |

8/30/2019 - rc@ughey wrote: 88 pointsVery well-made and well-balanced but painfully young and quite acidic. I thought this far inferior to the '16 Coche Bourgogne Blanc opened alongside it (which was really good). And while this is a very nice wine, I far prefer many White Burg 1ers that you can buy for the same price. |

2016 Arnaud Ente Bourgogne-Aligotémore |
8/26/2019 - acyso wrote: 93 pointsAligoté at Table, Donkey and Stick (Chicago, IL): This has the unmistakable signature of the producer -- the bright reduction and the bitter minerality, as well as acidity that is incredibly high. There's a touch of green here as well, but also a waxy texture. In that sense there's still some of the grape signature left, but this tastes more like Arnaud Ente than it does aligoté. |

8/25/2019 - Jammy Wine Likes this wine: 91 pointsTasted blind – The first thing I said when I smelt the wine was “I could drink this all day, everyday!”.. Unfortunately they only made 3000 bottles and the secondary market price is no longer justifiable.. Pure and vivacious. Perky array of energetic tree fruits and crystalline minerality, expansive and lively. The sleekness of the fruits and creaminess reminds me of Meursualt, a very refined one. Good acidity like 2014 but fruits are soft and approachable, 2013? Meursault lighter weight 1er Cru? (91+/100) |

8/13/2019 - jnewman77 Likes this wine: NRFirst the wine; this was excellent; probably the best Bourgogne blanc I've had; only the Leflaive 2014 and Leroy 2014 come close, but this was better than both; the nose is beautiful with an initial hint of matchstick leading to lemon peel, crushed stone, lime zest, green apple, acacia, a hint of spice and a hint of hazelnut. The palate is bright and fresh, but has very good depth and concentration for the level with a lingering finish. Sadly though the prices for A Ente wines are silly. You can buy top class 1er cru Meursault and Puligny for the price of the Bourgogne and even some Corton Charlemagne! It's a shame because I truly do love this domaine's wines and if this Bourgogne was available even for the expensive price of $50-60 I'd buy it as often as I could; but I can't really justify spending over $100 for a Bourgogne level, even when it is really good... |

8/3/2019 - vinkeger wrote: 91 pointsSitrongul med svakt grønnskjær. Veldig ung og uforløst nese. Blir litt generisk chardonnay. Har dog en del flint og stein, og noe eucalyptus. Frukten er svakt grønn. Slank men ganske tøff og streng i munn. Høy, nesten vanvittig syre som skriker etter å integreres. Frukten er svakt undermoden også her. Noen fenolske innslag. Savner kanskje noe kons. Medium finish som blir noe tynn. La ligge i minst 3-5 år. |

7/30/2019 - conviction buy Likes this wine: 94 pointsFrom magnum, pale yellow. Concentrated as though this is a 1er cru. Very finely balanced fruit acid, mild sweetness, some exotic flowers, all warped into a tense structure, and also a hefty price too. |
