A bright, pure wine laced with floral red fruits and just enough structure keeping everything fresh and food friendly. The fruit is declassified premiers crus from Santenay and St.-Aubin. A humble wine that over delivers in its class.

Too mature for its age, slightly oxydized with ripe yellow apples, yellow stone fruits, mhazel nutz and brioche. Got better with air, decant next bottle well in advance and serve at 12-14 degrees

Very nice nose - lanolin, citrus, and mineral. On taste fruit, citrus, and mineral driven. Good medium intensity and excellent balance with the acidity. Decent medium-longish finish. Went very well with escargot.

Burgundy Tasting (Ivy, George Street, Sydney): Medium minus intensity aromas of perfumed and slight alcoholic red berry…medium plus flavour intensity of spice and red berry (raspberry) then front of mouth tannic grip. A bit short. Simple but nice.

Quite nice for a SlB. Quite solid but seemed a bit tight. I recommend decanting this as it opened up over the course of the meal. Give it a try.

Wow, punches well above its weight class. Full, rich aromas of baked apple, lemon cream, mineral and spice. Medium weight body with juicy acidity and saline, citrus oil notes. Tangy, tart finish. Excellent.

Deep bright ruby red.
Lovely sweet ripe red berries with damson and violet florals.
Medium weight, very smooth and lush. Excellent ripe fruit intensity, mostly red but partly dark with some black cherry and damson. Finishes softly with very fine soft tannins, a bit atypical, but with firm acidity. Drinks well now but not obviously for keeping.

Perfumed berry nose. Velvety red berries, mineral flecks, and subtle earth on the palate; soft, seamless. Gevrey in character, so easy to drink. Would never have guessed M-C nor 2008 had been served blind; this comes across as a mature, feminine grand Cru. Decanted for about three hours and then consumed over another few hours. First bottle from a six pack, I can't see this improving as it's so good now, but I imagine that it will hold for a short while.

Nose of tight red cherry fruit with some floral and spice notes. Palate follows the nose, fairly linear and focused cherry fruit with good floral and spice support. Nice, bright acidity with a somewhat juicy, medium tannic finish. Ok QPR, but nothing to brag about. A nice Burgundy, but nothing that stands out enough to put in this note.

Hedonistic. A year on and still as good if not better. Just pushes all the buttons. Fresh (alas a bit of dissolved gas) lots of fruit and floral aromas and flavour, good spicyness and sublte stem lacing. Very well balanced with good lift. Light yet lingering. Just yummy.

Fin lengde, men mangler dybde. Fin horeca-vin.

Deep red throughout. Lovely aromatic mix of tart cherry, anise, and violets. Medium weight, gently ripe red fruit cut by zingy acidity and a touch of soil. Moderate tannin does not interfere with full enjoyment now. Very impressive and drinking so well.

Came around real well and letting its shoulders down after 3.5+hrs of decanting. Expressive nose, with subdued oakiness. Long tannins combined with medium+ accidity. Delicate and in early maturity. Thouroughly enjoyed this one. Pairing very well with veal fillet and mushrooms.
