I solid Rose under $10 and much more interesting than the blush that you find in super markets.

Okay at the price. Patently interventionist style. A Luden's-like candied cherry note, and toasted oak. Medium-bodied, low acidity. Best with a slight chill.

This is the epitome of what an 87 point wine should taste like. It bares it's soul. You can immediately smell and taste it's considerable good qualities, and just as quickly notice the reasons it does not score higher. Pouring into the decanter, a super fresh and vibrant, crushed strawberry and cranberry with roses jumps out and fills the immediate environment. The color is rich dark red, but surprisingly not opaque. My first impression across the palate was a touch of residual sugar, which explains it's crowd pleasing credentials. The fruit though somewhat simple, is at first quick hitting plum, cranberry and strawberry that unfortunately fades pretty quick. Has the viscosity of a wine with some sugar. Some medium heavy toast, possibly American oak. Mildly deficient in the acid department. Some oak driven tannins. A little disappointing on the finish, almost wish we did not decant, with plum skin, charcoal and fading fruit. Still a nice bottle of wine for around 10 to 12 bucks.

Solid, strawberry centric rosé that's absolutely perfect in the backyard on a warm night. At six bucks, back up the truck for the summer.

A rich jammy wine with some burn to it due to acidic imbalance. It is actually a little better with a slight chill to it. Dark sweet fruit aromas and flavors. A decently long finish.

Not a good wine, a poor blend, seems like "blend" is the new label for poor mass produced wine.

Pretty basic, but really tasty. This is close as good of an everyday wine as you can get for this price.

Medium salmon color. Drank 1 glass over 20 minutes. Fairly light on the nose with cherry and some minerality. The palate is similar with cherry and hints of berry. Pretty simple.

The big heavy bottle didn't lead to big enjoyment in the glass. PnP'd this opens to a modest nose of black fruits and light toasty oak segueing into a medium palate of raspberry and stewed blackberries with a little spice thrown in to keep it from being totally boring. But over an hour the wine thinned out and the finish faded, unlike the Alto Moncayo's I've enjoyed over the years.

Unmistakably Garnacha. Could easily be an excellent Cotes du Rhone or a good Chateauneuf du pape. Drinking perfectly.

I wouldn't call this jammy, but it is headed in that direction. It's well made. It's tasty. It's cheap. Good QPR. Good with food.

Popped and poured, drank over 2 nights. Cherry, strawberry and plum notes aromatically. Bright red fruit, primarily cherry and plum, on the palate. Peppery finish. A bit thin in terms of texture, but a nice QPR.

A lot more fruit and less minerality than I would have thought at 10 years +/-. Not necessarily a positive. Hamburger wine then (notwithstanding some 90 scores by those lush loving fruit forward types) and still.

Oh well, this was more in the way of an experiment to see what would happen if I put a bottle down for a few extra years.....Won't do that again!
