2/18/2024 - Bluespolo wrote: 94 pointsDavvero eccellente. |

1/15/2024 - Adrian Chmielarz Likes this wine: 93 pointsAbsolutely bonkers. Famous Bressan pepper on top of the typical pinot nose and a storm of ideas in the mouth. There are moments where you could swear it's a young Bordeaux only to morph into an older gentleman smoking a cigar on a leather chair. Quite rustic in style. It is still pinot, with its red fruits, forest floor and wood, but it's also so much more. Feels like a Ferrari engine put inside a Cinquecento body, and by that I mean it roars and demands 100% of your attention. Drinkable now but it could not be clearer that it has many years ahead of it. I won't be opening my second bottle any time soon. |

2016 Bressan Moscato RosanticoVenezia Giulia IGT more |
1/21/2023 - Ernestas Likes this wine: 93 pointsExemplary rose from Friuli made from indigenous varietal, rare and forgotten Moscato Rosa, aged on its lees for at least 3 years in acacia barrels. Color is not of rose, more like pale burgundian red with orange hue. Unique aroma of bruised apples, orange peel, smoke, touch of strawberries, tar, bergamot, roses, pepper. Palate is concentrated, dried and expressive with smoky and peppery fruit flavours, saline notes are evident at the persistent finish along medium level acidity. |

7/10/2021 - KeithAkers wrote: 95 pointsDinner at Canard (Canard, Portland OR): This was one of those moments with wine that I deeply love. You smell something that you've never smelled before and yet your mind wanders to where its from and imagine what it would be like to be there. Then you get zapped back to an outdoor top for 6 during a heatwave. This is a deep, savory, and passionate nose that is loaded with dark plum, black cherries, black raspberries, violets, cedar, smoke, toast, spices, and thyme. The Full bodied feel is a heavyweight that is still very nimble while carrying through all of the complexity and depth of the nose. The tart, medium+ acidity and chewy, medium+ tannins are resolving, though they are still making their presence known. I have no clue what kind of lifespan this will have. What I do know is that this is killer and I'm glad I had a chance to have it. |

Bella bottiglia e bella esperienza. |

5/3/2022 - gtilley wrote: NRThe nose on this wine is just so unbelievably salty and peppery I wonder if it's not borderline faulty. It's amazing to begin with but there's only so much of it I can cope with. It makes the wine seem borderline effervescent. I was really enthusiastic about this wine in my last tasting note - the same characters are all there but on this occasion the pepperiness was so dominant that it didn't seem as balanced as last time. |

10/13/2021 - Philip67 Likes this wine: 94 pointsUnique wine, fascinating spices that lift the high acidity medium bodied red and blue fruited food wine above the norm for this grape. Tannin also adds to the grip. What a palate! - polychrome flavours tumble over each other: menthol, cloves, cake spices, violets, Iodine, balsamic, pepper, herbs and pine. Wow! quite a mouthful - apparently they use a lot of different barrel woods but I've never had a Schiopettino like this. Its flavour profile is strong and I wouldn't want to drink more than a couple of glasses by itself - but this is good company for rich Italian pasta and meat dishes. Long finish and complex. Drink now and over the next 5 years. |
