Pretty nose, ripe but spicy and vivid with a whole cluster character. Vivid purple fruit on the palate, very well defined and composed, and a long finish. Great promise for the cellar.

Restaurant purchase. Light bodied and red-fruited with hints of darker, brambly/earthy elements in the background. Smooth and silky in texture, but with a good acidic cut keeping it fresh.

Red fruit, earth, and light spice. Paired perfectly with Copper River topped with a pink peppercorn thyme rub. Lots of life left and just starting to show secondary earthy characteristics.

Some heat, and a slightly stewed aspect, but more elegant than usual for the vintage. Classic unfiltered Brick House in appearance. Good balance (though with that heat note). Fairly spicy fruit. Hold for 3-5 years from here.

Perhaps suffering in comparison to the 2012 MacPhail Dutton Ranch, this seemed a tad thin. Light cranberry in the glass, with fragrant cranberry and strawberry. Delicate and graceful, all of which is good, with nice weight. A touch short and perhaps tart for my taste, at least in comparison to the much bolder MacPhail.

Served at upscale Lexington Pizza Parlour with Wine dinner alongside 3 others. overall, vg but could have used more breathing.
wines were in order
2013 Peay Vineyards Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast (served cool. As it warmed, it became balanced. Slightly sweet, full, silky. Good potential),
2007 Simon Bize Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Vergelesses (Decanted at table, let breath for ~20 minutes. Bright, fresh, good acids, some earthiness and mushroom, Lightest weight of the bunch. Should have decanted 1-2+ hours earlier as it showed better with time. I judged most complex, but maybe not the best at the table),
2010 Presqu'ile Pinot Noir (lot going on here. Bright, earthy spice. Nice finish. Best drinking at table.),
2012 Brick House Pinot Noir Evelyn's (May have been the lushest, and I think was the most shortchanged without aeration. Dark cherries, plum)

Tasted over two days. Found it interesting on the first day, showing typical Gamay dustiness, with more fruit and perhaps better focused acid than many Cru Beaujolais. It is a much better wine on the second day, more aromatic, powerful, elegant, and precise. The balance and charm to this wine on the second day, or after a long decant, commands attention. 91-92.

A bit lean today, nice style, needs more age. Try again in 2017.

Being "Flighty" at the Wine Bar (Sunfish Cellars, St. Paul, MN): Medium red color. Drank a 2oz pour over an hour. The nose has some nice red raspberry, cedar, and briar; it adds in a forest floor after about 30 minutes in glass. The palate is lighter-medium bodied, distinctive cherries, but less fruit overall, briar, with some nicely framed wood on the mid palate and the medium plus finish. Overall a very solid effort that should improve over the next 2 years.

Nicely aromatic, with tangy red and black fruits and sous bois notes. On the palate, good suppleness and maybe enough structure to justify being in the 20s, but I'll agree with bdb55 that this (for which a normal retail markup is like $32) is overpriced compared to Cru Bojo, which often delivers more interesting wines at like $20.

Drank from a magnum. The nose took a while to develop, but when it did - very good. We decanted for a couple of hours and the initial taste from the bottle was excellent. We loved the taste on the palate. Very good.

Consumed at Portland, OR restaurant, ask sommelier for Chardonnay that's oaked, but not overly oaked a la Napa. Took about 15-20mins to open up. Old world style. Refreshing, zesty, citrus, with slight creaminess, ends with med+ length mineral finish. Complex in my opinion. One of the better Oregon Chardonnay i've tasted.

P&P, and paired with salmon. Clear and medium garnet in color. Nice nose of red fruits and spice, and maybe a hint of cola. On the palate bright red fruits (mostly cherry and cranberry), spice, earth and a little green/stemmy. Moderate to high acidity, integrating well, and definitely room to mature. A very pleasant, food friendly wine that should improve with time.

Pure red fruits and nice acidic lift, but finishes a bit short. This would be great at $20, but at $30 I'll take a top-tier cru beaujolais instead

Like a heavy chablis. Stone. Minerals. Chalk. Grass. Some body. Light touch of oak. Acid is there but wont hurt your throat. Drinking nicely now. I doubt many would pick this out as new world. Had with black cod. Work3d well. Very nice wine.
