11/25/2022 - quaffnov Likes this wine: 91 pointsThis starts out very tight after its first pour and since I did not give it any decant time I was ready to go in the 88-89 range. Lo and behold after some time lingering in the glass it blossomed, with a nice blend of fruit and earth that went well with Thanksgiving dinner. |

10/3/2022 - tedcholl Likes this wine: 90 pointsEnjoyed this one, especially after the bottle was open for a few hours and the fruits blossomed. Great value wine. Blackberry, oak, earthy, minerals, licorice. Definitely need to return more often to Priorat. |

4/9/2022 - Decanting Queen Likes this wine: 90 pointsOne of several wines consumed as part of WSG’s science of wine tasting class. Opened and poured 90 min before tasting and retested repeatedly throughout the night. Delightful for a young priorat. Stewed berries, garrigue, blood orange. Really interesting to taste with ginger, seaweed, cinnamon but the most impressive of all was the impact of orange zest—it really demonstrated the concept of 1+1=3. I will have to pair some Garnacha with Duck a la Orange or similar!! 3 people found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (2) |

3/13/2022 - pkbowen Likes this wine: 89 points4h decant. Pours inky red-purple without sediment. Nose is decadent, with notes of balsamic, mocha, mole sauce, and redcurrant and cherries. Enters with tart, dark fruit flavors. Fine tannins and blueberry cobbler flavors blossom on the mid, leading into a med finish of graham cracker and blue and black fruits. Mouthfeel and acid lag behind the tannins and flavor intensity, but the oak is well done and nearly integrated. Okay QPR at USD$30. A one-bottle buy. Very good 89. |

3/13/2022 - smorris291 wrote: 88 pointsOn the lighter side for Priorat—bright raspberry flavors, good acidity, lots of minerality. Maybe not quite the complexity in one of the Black Slate bottlings (which I really like), but still enjoyable. |

1/11/2022 - elrascuache Likes this wine: 92 pointsPeach, apple and apricot notes on the nose. Bold, fruit forward with pepper and a stony presence on the palate. It is quite a heavy puncher that goes well with goat cheeses and charcuterie. Great value! |
