Good intensity, concentration, framework, acidity. Very good mouth presence. Red cherry, red currant, earth, tobacco, bay leaf, slight bell pepper on the finish. Comes off as Cab Franc heavy, ripe but not overdone. Great with steak. $27 retail (US) is very fair for this quality. |
