Shiny deep golden in appearance. Lime-driven, near-tropical tremendous nose mobbed w mango, pineapple, warm spice, yellow apples, honeyed - sweet yet fresh & persistent. Palate is m+-bodied, fruit cradled w vanilla, acidity maintains a sleek-tinged mouthfeel, crispy & juicy, closing seamlessly brittle & long! |

On the palate, a blend of stone fruit (apple, green apple, pear, apricot and white peach) and lemon with slight zest and lime, but a streak of tangerine zipping through, for the citrus. Full mouthfeel and moderate length. Very good acidity and liveliness. Sweetness as off-dry at least. Paired well with baked ham. |

It only makes sense. I wish it had more acidity. Might balance out the fruit. If you haven’t had a German Reisling this wine will suit you well. If your a German riesling fan this wine prob won’t favor your palate but that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy it. Especially at its price point. It’s dEf drinkable but lacks some of the depth you Would get from the German style. Give this a 90-91. I can see Californian drinkers loving this style. Prob a 96 pointer in some ppls opinion |

10/21/2023 - chugalug Likes this wine: NRThis is essentially a TBA. Sticky bottle. Wine is deep brown, syrupy. Nose is raisin, date, a little fig. Surprising orangey acidity on the palate, along with the expected massive caramel toffee sweetness. It's a one two punch that is none too subtle (yet it finds a balance), although there is a little minerality and some oolong developing. Delicious. This will continue to age well and develop further. |
