Much more integrated with extended air. Still has that herbal/green/eucalyptus, but much more tolerable as it mixed in the black currant fruit. Lengthy finish. Quite good, more enjoyable with steak.

It was a little strong on the alcohol, and it ended quick, never the less with the right meal it can provide to be nice and worthy.

Picked this up for a trip back in time to the types of wines I tried when first learning about wine. So much for nostalgia. Solid mass-market wine, but that's about it. Earthy tobacco, tar and black currant. Heavy, med/low acid palate. Not ponderous, but lacking clarity. The best thing going for this is that it hasn't overly spoofed oak and candied fruit to cover for the green characteristics.

This is a deep purple, medium bodied carmenere with berries and forest on the nose. Cherry, pepper and plum on the palette, quickly leading into a tobacco, chocolate with a slight coffee on the finish. Smooth tannins, but more juicy than dry. More cedar as it warms up, but richer with flavors.

spicy nose with lots of plummy fruit, cooked fruit, but not jammy, nice lift to the nose
Very very smooth, ripe tangy fruit, ripe soft tannin
Peppery and juicy, whisper of oak and a touch of leather on the end
classy
Managed to drink the bottle pretty much to myself over the course of an evening whilst watching Clint Eastwood films.
A good wine, therefore, to drink with Westerns.

Golden to white color. Clean. Oaky with some dampness on the nose. Light toast, roasted nuts, mineral flavors. Medium dry sweetnees with a medium body. Acidic equal to the tannins. Low alcohol. Not really a chardonnay drinker but it was good

Opaque purple color turning violet at the rim with a reflective edge. Dark, fruity, concentrated nose of blueberry, blackberry, coffee, hoisin sauce, smoke and toasted vanilla. The palate is full-bodied with a creamy, velvety texture; yet acidity is bright and captures you with its presence. Flavors of lush dark cherry, blackberry, plum, meat, smoke and earth are nicely integrated. Finishes long with hints of cocoa and earth. Drink now with 45-minutes decanting until 2025.

Wonderful, serious cabernet. It had plenty of fruit on the nose and palate to make it easy to drink, however, was layered with earthy, leathery elements that added complexity. Because there was such great fruit character to this wine I think it could improve even further in another 2 - 5 years once the tannins melow a bit more and all flavours integrate. Pretty awesome wine for this price. Decanted 50 minutes prior to drinking.

Nice wine . It's so rewarding to see the bonded tannins collect in chunks and strings ,at the bottle bottom. The only difference I can detect in this from a Napa, is an almost sweet, present black fruit. Otherwise, it's just the same, with obvious softer/tannin age. Perhaps this level cab from Chile advances quicker than Napa? I don't think a big Napa at this age, would be as smoothed out.

Medium-dark red. A great nose is perhaps the most enjoyable attribute of this bottle - lots of red berries, flowers, really perfumed. In the mouth, it is a round wine, with fine-grained tannins, but very short - quite disappointing in this sense.

At $16, I consider it to have a great QPR. It's a great house wine for everyday drinking. Worth searching. 89-90pts.

I'm not so used to carmenere, it rarely excites me so much. This one was no different. It was a smooth and "creamy" taste, with a fleshy feeling. A wine that pleased most people, but not deep enough to excite anyone

Slow ox for two hours. Coffee. Olive. Blackcurrant. Wet cedar and oak.

Not really "my style" overall. Was short on fruit, which isn't always a bad thing, but the earthy tones of this just didn't hit me in the right place. Plenty of grip. Finish was long and a bit hot.

Year after year, a dependable, solid, super-value, widely available, go-to mid-priced cab - my favorite cab at this price point. Inky dark purple color; intriguing, complex nose and mouth-filling flavors of black fruit, dark plums, figs, dark chocolate, and pickling spices; a touch of acidity, and generous but well-integrated tannins, ending in a long, bright fruity finish with tobacco in the background. Sure to be a crowd pleaser, as my 20-something beer loving kids really liked this - went superbly with grilled skirt steak and butterflied lamb at our father's day dinner.

Plowing through samples: Bright purple colored. Deep and plummy, smells of spiced blackberry jam, notes of coffee and loamy soil, sweet vanilla and milk chocolate. Juicy and ripe but tart, with chewy tannins, medium-low acid. Black cherries, dark plums, cola, toasted oak and coffee mix with dark chocolate shavings and a loamy, charcoal element. Darker flavors but a bright and drink-me-now personality.
