The palate hits with acidity but as the wine warms up, beautiful notes of dried apricots and caramelized brioche come through. There is some bitterness in the finish but it's ok. Look, after 15 years this is probably not at its peak but I am a little in love. |

Medium ruby color suggests youth, and fresh red cherries and strawberries on the nose with some white pepper confirm. The palate is also fresh and lively. Medium plus (plus) acidity and fine tannins accompany fresh fruit and a hint of earthiness. Elegant and taut. Excellent structure and a lingering finish, but still a long way from maturity. |
