Medium dark in color, some light spice on the nose, lovely medium dark berry flavors, malange of dark cherry, with plenty of lightly earthy spice for interest, nice medium intensity of flavor, plenty of acidity, and some fine, slightly chalky tannins. Really needs air at this young stage, bottle was better the second night, frankly the last glass was best. A Burgundy drinker's red, quite delicious. |

Minimalistic and tasteful style. Preferred to Larue’s “Sur le Sentier du Clou” due to greater purity of fruit (and less oak) here. |
