Light greenish yellow. Salt spray nose. Middle weight with some of the perceptible fat of the vintage, but still a tart, underripe lemony, brothy mix which is just fine for AC Chablis and certainly worked well with shellfish tonight. A simple pleasure, ready to go.

Clean, pure and true. Very delicious Chablis. Lots of structure and will benefit from short term aging at minimum.

LBTG - with Alan hosting: Young. Rich layers of vanilla and white flowers. Ripe mid with citrus (grapefruit and lemon) as well as some more tropical notes (pineapple?) broad mid with fruit and minerals balanced by the acidity. finish has a touch of spice and salt. YUM. needs some time IMO.

Still a very pure expression of the Chardonnay grape. Similar to the 11/1/12 bottle but slightly more balanced and delicious with the sushi at Izumi Restaurant.

My first taste of this producer and I have to say that this bottle is stunning! Bright, crisp green and stone fruit up front with tropical fruit notes following just behind. There's lots of acidity and minerality at the core along with some nori undertones. Admiral depth and concentration with a long, satisfying finish. This was drinking well tonight right after opening, but really started to sing after a couple of hours of air.

Corkage at a favorite local restaurant. Great with an assortment of small plates- mussels (in a buttery garlicky lemon & cilantro broth), oysters, brussels/artichoke, fish tacos, mushroom bao buns. Wine showed light gold color. Marked aromas of slate, lime zest, hibiscus. Hits the palate with a racy intensity, showing richness to compliment its bright acidity and angular structure. Hints of spice. Nice depth throughout. Very nice.

Aspen Food & Wine Classic Trip; 6/17/2015-6/22/2015 (Aspen, Colorado): Rich yet vibrant, this straw-colored Chablis flaunts an attractive bouquet of lime zest, wet stones, kiwi, pine nuts and coriander. Medium-bodied, crisply acidic and seamlessly alcoholic, it delivers a payload of flavors which mirror the nose. This wine receives no oak in its vinification and retains its freshness all the way through its lengthy, saline-tinged finish. As good as this is now, it will get better. Drink 2018-2025.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this based on the notes but we enjoyed it. Not a razor sharp in terms of acid but it was ample and thirst quenching. A hint of flint and some saline accent the citrus and green apple. There was also a touch of butterscotch on the finish but not too much. We polished this bottle off in embarrassingly quick fashion on a nice Friday evening on the patio.

Chablis: BdB style. Butter cookies, No oak, but feels like there is some, has excellent complexity and concentration. Reminded me of a good, mature Ch.Heidsieck Brut Reserve.

Opened before drinking about 6 hours. Pale-medium straw showing some legs in the glass even when slightly overchilled. A nose of nettle, green apple peal and gooseberry. In the mouth saline gravel, sea shells and more gooseberry. This is a great wine and has many more years yet to develop. When fully mature I would almost certainly give it a higher score.

Another good showing. At first, my impression is that this is more toned down than in the past, not as effusive and energetic as I remember, although still very good. Clear palate, no oak, very nice. This firms up and becomes more "classic" on the second night, when it shows really good structure and underlying tension. Quite enjoyable.

Opens quickly to an expressive nose and palate of clear and white fruits, unsweetened pineapple then veering towards white grapefruit and light apple, with good acidity and nice energy. The palate settles down with air. Mellower on the second night, still good clarity though. Another Louis Michel Chablis that has impressive attributes: no oak, good clarity, good energy . . . but still, drink now to mid term.

Monthly Tasting Group: Brunello's (Rinata, Mpls): Light gold color. this was given an hour of air prior. Drank 1 glass over 90 minutes. AS always, a fine example of Chablis, I can't really say whether the air made a positive difference, but it didn't hurt it either. See previous notes for details, very consistent wine. 91+ to 92pts.

Very giving in its array of flavors: unsweet pineapple, grapefruit, even a hint of tangerine after this had been open for a while. The palate is wide open with plenty of clear fruits and lots of energy. A bit looser than my first bottle last summer, but still plenty of energy and vigor. Drink now to mid term.

Well, a bit disappointed here. This is the first bottle I have opened since purchase, which was a couple 750s and a mag. I found the wine to be a bit flat and duller than I was expecting. There are nuances of marine here, some light salinity too in the finish, and some lemon but the energy seems lacking. I guess I am looking for it to connect with me more, to be say more like the 08, but I have to see the wine as a 10, and maybe it's just going to be a gentler version of Michel Clos.
