Like 2013, the acid is intense on this wine, but there is also delicate fruit and consumed with food this is nice. Would be a choice for me but not my first choice, glad I got to taste it again after the corked bottle.

The bottle was corked and the only one available. That said, it has a nice color and a good acid balance and weight. Think this was a very nice wine and will try to taste again soon.

Oh, how I have misjudged thee. This speaks volumes for just how difficult it is to supersede palate saturation and get at the heart of wines in massive tasting contexts. Not getting any of the strange porkiness from the Winebow tasting, but what a lovely wine. Incisive, saline, Muscadet in its core but without a balls to the wall brininess; and perhaps most importantly, featuring a disarming, slightly honeyed midpalate that unequivocally touched on violet aromatically, and really reminded me of Chenin. I'm still searching for a common ground on the "wooly" descriptor commonly used for Chenin blanc but I suspect this wine flaunts a tiny bit of it ever so briefly in the midpalate before it is wiped clean with a saline-inflected acid finish that brings home the Muscadet-ness, and is further erased from sense memory by the bright saline mineral nose that awaits you each time you nose the glass. What a deal this wine is. Old vines for a pittance. Feels really weird attributing points to Muscadet for me, as I don't feel as clear of a relative hierarchy as other wines I drink, but...91?

On the nose, strong fruit scent of pear, also some honeysuckle, white flowers. No tropical fruits.
On palate, medium/high acidity, minerality, pear on palate as well.Crisp, clean and refreshing.
Reminds me of a young Chablis.
Bought at Kermit Lynch Berkeley Shop
Good under $15 wine

Beautiful translucent watermelon hue. Fresh fruity(strawberry) bouquet with a rather elegant and lush palate and terrific acidity. Finished with good length.

Mismash of hasty impressions from Winebow and Regal Portfolio Tastings (NYC): Interesting greasy almost porky aroma on nose alongside other more typical Muscadet aromas? Nice. Somewhat unremarkable on finish, at least in this massive tasting context.

Rare to see Sauvignon Gris as a single varietal - my only experience to date. Like its cousin varietal grassy, gooseberry notes are in abundant supply but with a hint of saline which adds pleasing complexity. The finish is uncomplicated but with refreshing acidity. An easy summer drink.

A typical Sauvignon Blanc nose. On the palate you notice the green pepper right away along with the typical grassy notes and pineapple, and lots of minerals.

Lovely color and nose. In the mouth very tart and fresh, in fact the acid is a bit challenging to enoy the wine.

salmon color, low aromatic intensity, minerals and some mixed red fruits. on the palate dry, high acidity, a very firm midpalate, low alcohol. a really good example of the non-aromatic, dry, vinous, firm style of rose'... think inexpensive tempier kind of rose'.

I continue to enjoy this wine, but it appears that the fruit had faded somewhat from the last time I tried it. Perhaps it is just some bottle variation. On the other hand, this wine is probably not meant to age that long. Still had nice grassy notes, a little pineapple and mint.

Pale pink core with paler rim; slight strawberry water, watermelon, stony, kind of shuts down after that; strong bitterness, sour strawberry, light red fruit, lots of mineral on the back which makes this almost astringent; not a fan.

Still looks young. Smoke is the first thing to hit both the nose and mouth. Not in a bad way - more like the morning after a big firework party. Where the nose is followed up by floral notes the taste becomes lemons with a brisk and very long acidity. This is unusual, it has echoes of Sauvignon blanc but much less in your face, and smokier.

Was akin to a Sauv Blanc with with more Weight and Richness, it did have a green tinge more in line with Jalapone Skin [Pepper Green Flesh] then to Bell Peppers, with a nice cirus tropical wieghty richness that was perfect for a sunny afternoon

Energy, almost petillant, good body & length. Might be a good alternative to Sauvignon Blanc, with some of the green freshness and a little more creamy-textured body.

Light straw color with melon, guava, and honeysuckle on the nose. The palate shows citrus, melon, guava, green apple, and some herbal notes such as tarragon and thyme. There is a hint of bitterness on the mid-palate that gives it a lift and makes it more interesting. Nicely made with medium acidity and a nice finish although not super smooth. Not quite in harmony with clam chowder, but excellent with oysters, fried fish, and seared tuna.
