10/18/2022 - Dr. Wine MD PhD ;) Likes this wine: 89 pointsMedium ruby color with an pleasing aroma of black fruit with hints of citrus, a restrained fruit forward profile with blackberry, cherry, oak, pencil lead and subdued soft tannins and a short length with a bitter end that goes away after a few sips. I liked it more a few days later (though had it with vacu vin in those days) so some decanting will help. An average wine in an above-average bottle for a below-average price. Its light enough to be drunk without food and also not so great so if I have to wash down a pizza this will be good for it instead of a better tasting bottle. |
