Now, nice aromas of herbs, brown and green stems, bark, damp forest floor and some cherries. Palate w just ripe red cherries, brambles, medicinal bark, green stems, brown leaves, forest floor. Nice moderately long finish of fruit, brambles, and first floor. Excellent acids on a medium body with mild, almost faint tannins. Nice, elegant texture. The fruit on the palate plays a supportive role to the savory flavors rather than being up front and center. Definitely from a cooler year and lovely for it. Really nice with some prosciutto, vegetables and hummus. 90+ |

Palate w nice melange of red cherries, bark, brown stems, and a hint of balsamic vinegar. Medium body w excellent acids and mild tannins. Nice finish of ripe black cherries, bark, brown stems and a hint of balsamic vinegar. So uniquely E&M. Bright w nice savory notes. Delicious with some complexity. 91+. |
