Blacker fruit in the nose with a black pepper spiciness. Bright red cherry fruit on the palate with some chalky notates and a biting acidic component on the backend.

In general, I loathe pinot grigio; however, this stuff is actually good. Straw-colored, medium-bodied dry white; pineapple and tropical fruits, with a hint of almond and honey; pleasantly lingering finish. The '11 and '12 are both solid; the '13's not so much.

Absolutely delicious. Bright and lively flavors, in perfect balance. A hint of anise on the finish adds to the complexity.

Excellent. I could drink this every day.

Clear, pale yellow with large and copious perlage, which dissipates fairly quickly. The nose is medium (-) in intensity, with aromas of pear, green apple, brioche and a little bit of petrol. The palate is clean with a hint of residual sugar providing a smooth and velvety mouthfeel. The alcohol is subdued at 11.5%. The acidity is medium to medium (+) and counter-balances the fruit. The flavor intensity is medium with lemon and bitter lemon on the medium finish. This is a very approachable and very versatile sparkling white. Good by itself or with food, and a great value.

Much better than the weak Sauvignon Blanc 2011 of the same producer. Hint of copper in the colour; flavours are light and acidity relatively low, but the wine has pleasant substance and some varietal typicity; decent length. DYA.

Light, booth, delicate and citrus scented Prosecco with good mousse and a long dry finish made in the Friuli region of northern Italy. Refreshing with mineral and earthy notes, along with tangy apple and peach scents. Made from the Glera (Proseco) grape. Excellent as an aperitif either served plain chilled on its own, as a cocktail or Bellini.

Northeast Italy (and the surrounding Parts) (Cleveland): This was served cold and on a hot day with the sun coming in thru the windows, it worked very well. It had the yellow/copper color of PG. The nose has peaches and minerals. Slightly oily. Nice acidity which worked well with the food. More mineral driven. Not profound (Pinot Grigio rarely is), but a step above some of the generic Pinot Grigio's that sell for $25 or more a bottles.

Tasted as part of WSET Level 3 wine class. Medium plus intensity nose of acacia, blossom, rose, lemon, lemon zest, pear, apple, grapefruit, nectarine, honeysuckle, hay, ginger, white pepper and stony/steely. Quite a lot going on. Medium plus acidity, dry, with lost more of the citrus and honeysuckle on the palate. Zippy and pronounced flavours on the palate. Fantastic PG.

Decent but not memorable. Needed more "zing". Grigio style just not my preference.

I decanted it for about an hour before drinking. It had a wonderful aroma, which made me think it was going to be *amazing*. It was, indeed, very good. But it turned out to be a little less bold than the aroma suggested. I am not an experienced "taster" but I pick up a distinct flavor of caramel.

Clear, pale straw yellow with large, copious and persistent perlage. The nose is clean, and delicate, with aromas of white flowers and stone fruit. The palate is clean with just a hint of sweetness. The alcohol is subdued at 11.5%. The acidity is medium and counter-balances the fruit. The mouthfeel is soft and velvety. The finish is medium to medium (+) with a touch of minerality. This is a well made, nicely balanced sparkler from the Grave appellation. Good by itself or with food, and a great value. It is very drinkeable. In my initial enthusiasm I rated it a 90, but I think 88 is more realistic.
