Palate w ripe gala apples, excellent minerals, herbs, a touch of saline, nice iodine, and chalk on midpalate. Excellent, juicy acids on a medium body that coats the entire palate. Nice lingering finish of tart apples, minerals, herbs and a touch of chalky iodine. Best showing yet and I wish I had more. I think I underestimated this wine in my previous notes. The extra air really opened up the wine and upped the complexity and harmony. Now I wish I had more to keep for 2-5 yrs which I think would add greater complexity and harmony. Definitely punches above its classification. |

Excellent minerality but it's integrated so well with roundness that I have yet to see in a P.C. If blind tasting I would guess this was a 2018 Chablis 1er cru, maybe Fourchaume, which had definitely seen some old oak. I visited this domaine on a whim because I saw it was a Kermit Lunch affiliate, and I was not disappointed. An absolute steal |

Palate w tart apples, bit of grapefruit pith, minerals, herbs. Medium+ body w nice concentration and excellent acids. Fairly short finish. Not a really complex wine but the midpalate on this wine really sings with it's depth and concentration. Wish the finish was longer and more complex. Having said that, this is a nice weekday wine with enough liveliness and depth to keep my interest. |
