I let it decant for 2 hours and then the nose was a bit warmer with spice, orange peel and some chocolate. On the palate this is classic Tuscan Cab, red fruits, tobacco, leather, chocolate and some herbs as well. Medium finish with chalky tannins. This has a great life ahead of it, 5 more years minimum with an easy 10 to wait. 93++ |

There’s a lot of wine here - it’s so intense and concentrated. It needs more time. The tannins are immense but ripe. It’s heavy on the alcohol but it is well integrated, showing as just a touch of warmth on the finish. A fabulous wine and still good value. |
