Medium lemon in color. The nose is clean, with aromas of lemon, white flowers and stone. The nose is of medium intensity and youthful. The palate is dry and consistent with the nose. The acidity is medium plus, the alcohol is medium. The body, flavor intensity and length are medium. This Soave is very well balanced and carefully made and has above average concentration, intensity and minerality. It undergoes malolactic fermentation and is a great pairing with savory Italian appetizers, seafood or vegetable risottos, seafood, shellfish and salads. Drink now, not intended for aging.

This was made for pork and shellfish.Spritz of the sea, with a lot of stone fruits - apricot, quince, pear, Pink Lady apple, marzipan/bitter almond, friesias, lemon, with lovely stone minerality in the background. Lots of flavour, although perhaps not heaps of complexity. This one requires attention, but it's easy enough to drink and really refreshes the palate with foods that have a background sweetness along with plenty of butter or fat. With the acidity here, I think this could get interesting in another year or two.

Wonderfully balanced overachiever. Rich and round on the nose with leesey aromas of melon and mango. The palate has great intensity and great length with soft, ripe yet refreshing flavors of cantaloupe and peach backed with a lovely herbal component.

Tasted at a free wine tasting of the winemaker at Radrizzani's in Milan. Round taste not typical of a sauvignon, really, but very intriguing and enticing .Hints of vanilla probably coming from the oak ageing and some smoky taste, stone fruits, with a bit of floral qualities, and an almond finish. Very pleasant

Probably just at its prime, a crisp and refreshing wine served with mushroom risotto and lemon caper piccata. Tastes of citrus, tempered with a slight oaky undertone, it perfectly complemented both the lemon and the chicken stock. Note that I rated 85, which is a good but not very good or excellent wine. I would buy again.

There is an intensity I'm starting to pick up on these bottles. The fruit is getting some heat, but it's still largely yellow and white stone fruits, with a bit of floral qualities, some crushed leaf, herbs, and a very bitter almond finish. Acidity is there, but clashing with the herbal/nutty finish. A sign to drink up?

Golden on the eye. Apricot and almond on the nose. The palate has a rich, vanilla, oaked flavour, apricot fruit and an intensity and depth of flavour which you simply don't get from most Soave. This really is a classy wine to enjoy with food such as fish or chicken to really show at its best.

Imagine a ripe bowl of cherries in the center of an old farmhouse kitchen; you get the old wood, the warmth of spice mixed with ripe richness.

The dark, brooding nose suggests black currants, chocolate, cedar, pepper and camphor. This wine is styled like a Bordeaux, with bold Cabernet flavors and a dusty sense of Italian earth underneath layered flavors of blackberry, cigar box, green herbs and vanilla. Universally liked.

This bottle still had rich fruit, but more on the yellow and stone fruit scale than tropical. Nectarine, white peach, something a bit floral here, with a lovely marzipan/biter almond character on display, particularly on the finish. Good acidity, same crunchy texture. Such style at such a good price.

Pretty garnet color, the meniscus shows pretty color as well. Still lovely zip of acidity, and great mouthfeel - plenty of weight, and a richness that has developed with age. I've always liked Inama's wines, especially this and it has gotten even better. Earthy, black cherries and a little dusty tannin on the tongue, harkening back to the pomegranate. Hints of spice and white pepper on the lengthy finish. Still a really cool wine - wish I still had more of the vintage.

Really rich and focused SB. Ripe peach, pineapple, pear, with a lot of texture yet bright acidity. Fruit along with a a base note from the volcanic soil. Packs a punch, but with food is wonderfully subtle, versatile, and complimentary. I bought this as an aperitif, but think its strengths lie elsewhere. Great QPR.
