The wine was definitively more open and softer (which makes me wonder about the ability of Coravin'ed bottles to last). Red fruit, elevated acidity, still perhaps just a touch tight with some tannins coming through with more air, earthy notes, wood spices and lavender. Nice Burgundy for sure but not great in terms of complexity and I doubt this will ever be. Hold for 3-4 more years. |
