4/14/2024 - Chill51 Likes this wine: 91 pointsClassic Pinot nose, floral with a little forest floor combined with a hay bale. Fruit up front of red berries leaning more towards the ripe strawberry combined with cocoa and fine leather. Some earth peaks out along with some cedar mid palate. Finish is medium with pie spices and green bell pepper. Nice and complex, and definitely a food wine we had it with pork tenderloin and Gorgonzola gnocchi. Going to buy more to satisfy our Pinot Noir component of our cellar. Would definitely share with friends or bring to a dinner party. Great value for the price compared to other California Pinot Noirs. |

4/14/2024 - MicklethePickle wrote: 86 pointsNice golden yellow, but thin. Mellow nose, vanilla, but the acid seems a bit too present in the mouth, making it a bit unbalanced. I like it less than I did at the winery. 4-12-13-7: 86/100. |

3/31/2024 - travelme Likes this wine: 90 pointsBalanced and beautiful Sta Rita Hills Pinot with a nice cherry cola note. A bit one dimensional and just a hint of too much oak as the fruit begins to fade to the background but overall an extremely pleasant bottle to enjoy with Easter dinner. |

It smells and tastes like pineapple, apple, peach, lychee, vanilla, oak and honey. It is a delicious everyday Chardonnay, served with roasted Chicken and grilled zucchini. Great QPR. |

2/15/2024 - screwtop12 Likes this wine: 88 pointsNice happy hour half price bottle. Blackberry and cherry with possible undertone of caramel. This is a high alcohol wine with medium body at most. I enjoyed this wine but the body may be bit overpowered by the alcohol. The finish is decent and overall went well with my steak salad. |

1/9/2024 - The Drunken Cyclist Likes this wine: 88 pointsRetail $27. Moderate bottle (611g). DIAM10 closure. A blend from primarily two counties (Sonoma and Monterey Counties with a smidge from Santa Barbara County thrown in). Fairly dark in the glass with some red and dark fruit on the nose. The palate is perfectly pleasant with decent fruit, balancing acidity, and a touch of intrigue. Look, this is not a world-beater but then neither is the price. Very Good. 88 Points. |

1/4/2024 - Mark1npt Likes this wine: 90 pointsFirst of my shipment. Pnp'd and enjoyed over 4-5 hours with 2 different meals. Pretty classic Cali pinot in all respects, color, weight, nose and palate. All the standard notes apply. It's a solid effort, but kind of generic in most aspects. 89-90 right now, hoping it gains a point or two going forward. Drank its best in the first two hours fwiw, tailed off a bit after that. |

12/24/2023 - travelme Likes this wine: 89 pointsAnother well made Landmark Pinot. My first of the Hop Kiln label vineyard which Landmark purchased a while back. I have been aging these for a while myself but my brother purchased one and brought it to our Christmas Eve party. I got black cherry, some spices, and ripe fruit and oak on the palate. |

12/21/2023 - Mark1npt Likes this wine: 94 pointsMy first of these in quite a few years...re-joined the wine club with my son and his new wife. This is one of the few Cali pinot houses I personally like with the other being Sojourn. Not that Sea Smoke or WSelyem of KBrowne aren't good but they're just way too overpriced now, not that this one is inexpensive, either. With the wine club discount it was $65. |

11/30/2023 - ggoodway Does not like this wine: 88 pointsReally strong and in your face for a Pinot. Not much finesse or elegance. Nose is strawberry, fig, dried fruit, and a bit of oak and nuttiness. Shortbread or even fig newton. |
