Tasted as part of my Level 3 WSET Course (Day 3 – Italy, Spain, Portugal, USA and Canada). Clear pale ruby in the glass, the nose is clean, decent intensity (med(+)) with bright red fruits and floral notes. Palate is dry, with med(+) acidity and alcohol, and medium body, intensity and tannin. The red fruits are not as bright now as on the nose – more stewed / compote, with brambles and tobacco. Nice but not great.

Citrus, floral, balanced acid, nice and fruity on the nose - very good value. Drink now. Good every day wine.

Subdued floral nose with some interesting minerals. The palette is fresh and holds a dash of lemon. The flinty finish is cut with just the right amount of acidity. This wine is certainly not a complex blend of flavours, but the mouthfeel is well defined and works wonders with oysters drizzled with a little chilli and red vinegar.

Dry and relatively neutral but I like the streak of sweet lemon and acid. Perfect hot summer drinking without much thinking. Needs a decent chill to hold its own.
