White peaches on the nose, some vanilla from the oak but not much. Probably most disappointing wine of the night. Stared out well but felt there was no length on the palate which is odd given the acidity of the vintage. Some ppl thought it was perhaps in a hollow phase and needed more age. Have another bottle so will hold off and see.

Rating in line with others. Very good wine. Highlights on the palate, mostly. Very smooth and balanced there, with that 'ethereal' aspect that we like to use from time to time to describe Burgundies. The aromatics are a lesser side-show -- some over-the-hill fruit and stewed aspects, with an occasional whiff of anise. Again, palate better and the fruit belies the aromatics. Not going to improve in this taster's view, and I'm glad we opened it when we did from an overall enjoyment perspective.

Nose - cool/menthol, spice, mulberry and plums
Palate - mint, black plums and cherries, evident fine tannins and acid.
Conclusion - I liked it. I'd like it even more in 10 years!

Light red color in the glass. Fragrant, elegant aromas of strawberries & light cherry. Light-weight on the palate with soft, fine tannins. Seems to need time to add weight and fully integrate, but surprisingly approachable for a 2012 Grand Cru at this stage. A very pretty wine.

lighter alcohol, enjoyed with cheese, nuts, apple. Nice, but $28 is too much for this wine when there is similar quality out there for $20. Very fresh, no time in oak.

A bit young.
Decent fruit.
A bit rustic.
But still evident quality here.
Will be better in 5 years.

Deep garnet red with only a little brick on the rim. Intense and beguiling nose of earth, truffle, underlying fresh blue fruit and a hint of spice. In the mouth medium bodied, silky tannins, balance of fruit and frsh acidity. Full of flavour, excellent length. Great wine, that has gained compared to two years ago, no longer muted, but wide open. Drinking perfectly now, but no hurry.

Gorgeous stuff. Very elegant. Opens with a nice little barnyard/earthy thing, then transitions into a slightly spicy, acidic wonder. Excellent medium-red fruit. No reason to think that this won't be compelling for the next 10+ years.

Allowed to breathe in bottle 60 minutes before tasting. Clear medium ruby red. Lovely bouquet of mixed fresh and dried red berries, potpourri, incense, hints of spice and herbs, stony soil, flowers. Similar on the palate, seamless, balanced, substantial yet weightless. Steadily improved with air throughout the evening, with the last sip the best, so often the case with great wine.

Deep cherry red with purple reflexes. A relatively powerful nose of hay, high-toned blue fruit and a floral layer, all a bit tight. In the mouth, plush with velvety tannins, medium plus body, sufficient freshness. Not elegant, but rather forceful. Good length. For the moment it seems all a bit mushed up, not very precise, but there is good structure and concentration. So I'd give it a couple more years.

A touch of volatile acidity upon opening, strong red fruits and earth on nose. medium bodied, grippy tannins, high acidity. Tart red fruits and earth with a strong mineral componant. Seems like its gaining tertiary flavors at this point. It gained complexity and body and was best at the 3 hr mark. Will try the other 1/2 of the bottle tomorrow. Drink or hold.

Très beau vin à boire maintenant selon moi. Le nez est excellent mais il disparaît assez rapidement. Encore une belle fraîcheur en bouche avec de beaux petits fruits rouges. Un excellent rapport qualité prix pour la bourgogne.

Continues to improve. Paired with smoked chicken. Improved with 30 minutes+ of airtime - open in advance if drinking now. Bright cherry, earthy, dried cranberry, orange rinds on nose. On palate, medium body, high acidity, cherry, bing cherry, cranberry with a very long finish. Paired great with chicken. A special wine. 93+ Should have bought a case vs. 1/2 a case!

Very nice Corton still in a place where you can drink it, although I have the sense that it is turning in on itself and would've been more generous if I'd caught it a year ago. Deep, dark, dense and very bassy fruit with some of those savory Corton gamy flavors as well as a subtle earthiness - but I think this one'll likely turn out more animal than mineral. It's well on its way to streamlining its baby fat, but there is still plenty of primary sweetness to the fruit and a sticky, sappy grip.

Lovely golden straw colour. No resemblense ta a mature browning on the rim. Nose is intensive with dried citrus and spice components. There is also some toast. On the palate it's still vibrant and has some good acidity eventhough the intensity of the fruit has gone down a bit too much. Behind all that dried citrus there are some spicies and toasty oak. Very nicely matured but it's past it's peak although no problem drinking it.

Not as forward as I anticipated. Took some time to evolve, but eventually opened into a very nice and tasty drink. Reasonably complex and interesting. Likely would have been better with food.

Coiled and reticent, with a brooding character and a certain ripe sweet mass but intense 08 acidity plus a fair amount of tannins push it out of mind quickly on the palate; nose and palate give some leather with tiny chocolate mint allusions. Expressive enough to enjoy but clearly asking for more aging, although I wonder how much more rewarding it will become.

On the nose a good dose of vanilla and red fruit. Also some hint of heat. On the palate the oak is too prominent for my palate. Rustic style, good level of acidity. Red fruit and earthiness. Tannins still prominent. Some heat and bitterness on the finish. Needs some time to soften up.
