Secondary smoke and tertiary tobacco and petrol. Palette is medium with some heat from the alc which is high. Luckily Tempranillo seems to be able to handle the high alc in ribero del Duero. Palette is still a little tart, so age may help. Needs heart food. Decent but a little linear on the palette. Decent, but not great. |

Let it breath for about an hour and while we enjoyed it on its own it was with food (in our case pork tenderloin with roasted persimmon) that it really shined which I believe is due to it's acidity and surprised that it was only 13.5% alcohol as it tasted bigger to us. |
