On the first day, strong damp forest floor on the nose, though it was muted on the second day. Very subtle tannins, but liked the long finish on the first day. Sour cherry and red grapefruit notes. Some dried oregano. Oak is not prominent. Somewhat unremarkable on the second and third days, so decanting is unlikely to improve the profile of this wine. |
