One of my quests in wine is to find a new world chardonnay that satisfies as much as a fine pinot, even though rated highly. Although most highly rated chardonnays disappoint me, this wine does not. Indeed, I think the Parker 93 rating does not do it justice. Although still young, this wine is in the league of the really top California chardonnays I have had (eg, the top Rochiolli and Kistler wines). Butterscotch and spice, with excellent balance and depth of flavor. Drinks well now, but should improve over at least the next two years.
A winner!

This is an oaky classic California Chardonnay with a light straw color. The dominant oak is integrated and gives the required honey pineapple nose. Dry in the mouth (thank god) with adequate acid the alcoholic heat does not hit until the finish. Not my style but I would recommend it as a good execution of that style. It did overpower the scallops, needs something with more cream and butter and for the same dollars or less a Chablis would have been better with the dish.

Apple and citrus on the nose and palate. Crisp and refreshing with subdued oak. Nice finish.

Lots of extracted blueberry, vanilla, cassis, oak, and anise. Big but closed off on Day one even with a long decant. On the second day I would have guessed a well polished Aussie Shiraz.

Slightly turbid garnet; red fruit nose with attractive forest floor component; exuberant first impression with bright red berry, forest floor, smooth mouthfeel, lightly spicy, very easy drinking. But the fruit was all forward, acidity was average, and tannins very light. Hollow mid palate. Second day, a different wine, darker with more intense spice-almost Syrah like. Had the wine delivered on its early promise, it would have been fabulous. It did not.

Others have called this a heavy pinot but seems more "medium" to me. Fruit forward with tart cherry & cranberry showing. A little tight and angular now even with a very long decant and a second day tasting after overnight in the fridge. Smooth tannins. Wish this was a little less tart.

Drinking well right now, with a savory herb up front, but a plush plum-cassis in the midpalate and a tiny spine of tannin holding up a moderate length.

A lovely Cab with plenty of soft tannin to make aging a few years worthwhile. Sediment and the tannins make decanting a couple hours in advance the way to go.

Deep-to-opaque ruby in color, this Stelvin-enclosed Pinot requires an hour or more of aeration to fully resolve its reductive notes. Thereafter, it flaunts aromas of black cherries, boysenberries, cola, fennel and tree bark. Medium-bodied, fresh and with nicely integrated alcohol (listed as 14.1%), it delivers flavors similar to the aromas. The tannins are medium in weight and very supple, supporting the wine's fruit throughout the middle palate and lengthy finish. This is a nicely structured, ripe Pinot Noir which will have many fans. Drink now-2019.

Great big nose. Big nose of black chocolate, raspberry, great flavors. Good black and red fruit. Great round flavors. So juicy it is crazy. Long 40 second finish. Great nose of chocolate covered raspberry. Nice creamy chocolate and blueberry flavors. Very balanced acid. Tannins are a little weak, but great wine.

Consistent with previous tasting and remains outstanding. There is a floral note of rose with dried cherry on the nose, almost like a Barolo, but with more red fruit. Very silky on the palate with fullness and integration of strawberry, cherry and raspberry that goes through to a long and balanced finish.
