9/26/2015 - cos82 Likes this wine: 92 pointsMy first Jura wine from my cellar which I bought several years ago. Brought to BYOB to drink with Iberico ham, tapas and paella. Started out slowly.light gold in color. No nose unless swirled and then mostly minerals. Initially minerals and steel on the palate. Over time, it evolved into a beautiful food wine. Pineapple, minerals, splce and more. Delicious, long, balanced and smooth with a hint sweetness. I really enjoyed this with the food. |

Oxidized, sherry like, similar to a Batic or Lopez de Heredia. Do get some vanillin and oak, but probably b/c of the temp. Nice nose, great deep yellow/amber color. This makes me want to explore more Jura wines. Delicious. |
