Nice, fresh strawberry nose with a bit of hay and poo but not particularly off putting. Nice but not worth the money, IMHO. This young, natural style is being made by a lot of folks.

While not mind-altering like the Melon Queue-Rouge, this is quite good. Nice apple-y fruit, not at all tart but with some underlying acidity and complexity.

Fairly bright yellow. Huge wafting oxidized flavors. Bone minerally dry on the palate. Seemingly timeless. Quite nice

This wine is blowing my mind. :-)

I am having trouble describing the flavors and aromas, but the intensity of each is compelling. It initially feels like a full-bodied mouthfilling chardonnay but then additional flavors of exotic herbs and maybe some waxiness layer over the top.

The acidic spine cutting through adds even more complexity and made it sing with my cauliflower/green olive/caper/anchovy pasta.

Wild, delicious stuff.

My first Jura wine from my cellar which I bought several years ago. Brought to BYOB to drink with Iberico ham, tapas and paella. Started out slowly.light gold in color. No nose unless swirled and then mostly minerals. Initially minerals and steel on the palate. Over time, it evolved into a beautiful food wine. Pineapple, minerals, splce and more. Delicious, long, balanced and smooth with a hint sweetness. I really enjoyed this with the food.

This is in quite a nice place now, soft but still with energy, there's some development but the fruit is very much here, really delicious, my best bottle of this wine so far, and of course the last

The nose here smells a lot like Nebbiolo, and is very inviting with its dried cherry and dried spice notes. Reminds me of the '64 Spanna we had last summer in Philli. Lovely on the palate, with dried red cherry and cranberry notes, soft tannins. Went very well with duck at the bar at Red Cat with Sarah.

Golden. Not at all oxidative, but it still has Jura character. Lovely hints of various nuts. Nice balance, with good acidity and viscosity. It evolved well over three nights, refrigerated but neither gassed nor pumped in between.

Such an interesting wine. Dark yellow, almost gold colour. Strong acid. An unusual melange of fruits - pineapple, grapefruit, orange, apple. But there's also a nutty savoury aspect - almost like a few drops of almond essence has been included. Great and unusual drinking.

This one shows its age as it pours deep amber color. Aroma is of peaches and orange. On the palate, peach, sweet apple, butterscotch and blood orange, along with notes of almonds. The finish is massively acidic, tooth peeling even, with a subtle salty tang. If you like Gueuze or Fino Sherry, you’ll love this stuff. It’s generally in the same flavor ballpark. I imagine that if Cantillon made an orange lambic, it would taste pretty much like this.
It’s not weird or challenging. If you’ve already acquired the taste for wine, there’s nothing strange about this. There’s no further taste to acquire. The acidity and strong fruit keeps it from going into weird oxidized land.
As far as food pairing, this was absolutely brilliant with flounder meuniere with asparagus. I also bought a chunk of Comte, thinking that it would be a natural pairing, but it was a bit more challenging… take a sip of wine and a bite of Comte and it tastes great, but the next sip of wine tastes like water until you clean your palate with some bread.

Fruit-forward with ripe lemons and tropical notes. High acidity that makes it fresh. Really nice but somehow lacking in Jura character.

BBQ lunch at Daves (Banksia, Sydney): On the nose butter, herbs (touches of lemon thyme), slight citrus of predominantly lemon, spicy notes as well as a certain chalky minerality. In the mouth the wine has citrus over herbs, butter and spice and is quite broad on the palate. It's refreshing and, though only medium length, very pleasant.

Really enjoy this wine. Unfortunately drank at room temperature but even at that temp can tell how nice this is. Oxidized, sherry like, similar to a Batic or Lopez de Heredia. Do get some vanillin and oak, but probably b/c of the temp. Nice nose, great deep yellow/amber color. This makes me want to explore more Jura wines. Delicious.

Heavy fruit, tropical ones. Walnuts, sweet almonds, vanilla and a sense of oxidation. More fussy and delicate on the palate with a tone of bitterness. Orange, lemon and lime. Long aftertaste with a bitter finish, lacks a bit of acidity imo. Obvious Jura-feeling here.

On the positive side this shows a lot of the elements you want from a poulsard. On the negative side it is a bit to thin/watery and the is a strange drying, almost woody, finish.

Complejo y especiado. Hierbas.

No me canso.

Nice expressive nose with loads of citrus and minerality. Topped up (ouille) but with those typical Jura charachteristics that reminds one of oxidative wines. Really nice! A great companion to beef brisket and creamed potatoes with mustard and horse raddish.

88-89 pts

Very light, strong aromatics on the nose with still some tannings.
It kinds of close the gap between Arnot Roberts/ Sandlands Trousseau and the Jura ones.
Not much depth though.

No formal notes taken. Pink/orange in color, slightly cloudy appearance. Strong aromatics of strawberry/cherry. Prickly in the mouth, with strong presence of brett. I found this wine unique but quite enjoyable, primarily due to its aromatics

Notes of banana on the nose, as well as some herbal notes. Soft mouthfeel. Some acid, and a drier finish. Light golden yellow color in the glass. We enjoyed this bottle immensely and would thoroughly recommend it.
