375ml from the list at Schwartzwaldtube. This went really well with our seafood-centric meal. Big, lush, with ample acidity. PYCM has yet to disappoint.

nice bright fruit. Soft minerality. Some reduction. Touch of a sour note of the finish. But I'm being picky.

Like the 2005, the 2007 PYCM Corton Charlemagne is aging very gracefully, offering up an attractive nose of lemon, green apple and wheat toast, framed by a gentle hint of oak vanilin. On the palate the wine is vibrant and zesty, with a nicely glossy textural profile, and ultimately a bit more refined and elegant than its somewhat more blowsy sibling the 2005. Nice juice.

The 2005 PYCM Corton Charlie is in a very pleasant place along its evolutionary curve, offering up a pretty expressive bouquet of ripe Meyer lemon, candied lime, pastry cream and a judicious tincture of nutty oak. On the palate the wine is really quite large-scaled, in keeping with the vintage, and while others found it just a bit too much of a good thing, I admired its volume, generosity and intensity. This is still fresh and bright with a healthy colour: aging gracefully.

An amazingly fresh and crisp nose of ripe orchard fruit, citrus, hazelnut and toast. Excellent depth and viscosity on the palate with a superb honeyed finish. Amazing.

Yellow. Lots of sulfur to start, but this largely receded. Medium weight, glorious texture so typical of these wines. Ripe lemon, toasty oak, excellent acidity for the vintage, and excellent length. Proper white Burgundy that is very tasty. It is only limited by its vintage specific rounder character with less minerality and detail. I'd say that this is fully enjoyable now with limited upside potential.

Quite a big style of Puligny. Pretty upfront and in your face but the big, bold flavours are matched with some cut and a pleasing spice character. Perhaps a little heavy in style and atypical for PYCM but a good food match might negate this somewhat.

Significantly broader and richer on the nose than the St A Champelots. Similar on palate. Breadth rather than line. Opens up to an overtly vanilla spice nose. Surprisingly unsubtle for PYCM. ***

Pale straw. Lime, a bit of sulphur and a mineral feel to the nose. Nice focus on the palate with a good shape and length. Just a touch of slightly hot grip on the finish that signals the vintage. Proper and quite serious. ****

Gorgeous aromatics of green apple, mineral and spice. Palate is impeccably balanced with a crisp mouthfeel and loads of acidic tension. Chiseled with a long, lifted finish.

very nice. mid-weight (lighter than I expected), and sulfur wasn't as overwhelming as it can tend to be with PYCM. blew off nicely within 30 minutes.

explosion of flavor on the palate - clearly chardonnay, but much higher rocks-to-sunshine ratio than a comparably priced (high-end) CA chard. love the mineral expression with just a touch of tropical fruit this brings to the table.

Absolutely brilliant Meursault AOC. Everything you would want in a villages white burg. Intense fruit, sharp acidity, fine minerals, and a generous squeeze of lime. Sneaky depth, and the fruit is pretty opulent for this level. Slightly spicy. Just really satisfying, and this has opened up quite a bit in the last few months.
