Rich, dense palate with flavors of dark cherry, mocha, earth and vanilla. This is structured quite nicely and built for medium term consumption, but approachable now. Very supple, delectable and attractive finish. Drink now until 2020. |

The initial taste was pleasant and my hope arose. The letdown was in the moments following as the middle turned plain and flat and the finish melted away. Nevertheless, overall a pleasant but overpriced, table offering. |

Am drinking the 11th bottle of a case purchased 16 months ago, and it is becoming more woody/oaky as time passes. I've scored this wine as I recall it drinking during the first several bottles (early 2012) when I enjoyed the full, forward dark fruit and zesty alcohol. |

Dark fruit flavor, and as the night went on chocolate, with the mint component developing as secondary flavors. Smooth, layered and well balanced, tannic backbone strong and present. This wine still has plenty of life left, but I supsect its peaking now. Pleasantly suprised, this could go for another decade or so stored properly. |
