Nose: Slightly floral with bright red and blue fruit. There's an earthy funkiness that I'm really digging on.

Palate: Pure silk on the palate with firm but svelte tannins. There's a crunchy darker fruit that grips the side of the tongue with flavors of cherry and pomegranate.

Finish: Wonderfully astringent with a tart, fresh fruitiness. There are strong leathery tannins that continue the earthy goodness from the nose.

Thoughts: I've got a decent (maybe an 'ok') handle on the "S" of "GSM" but I wanted to expand to the "G" and "M". Well if they are gonna drink like this; sign me up for more. This has got a great floral, fruit profile with enough stuffing for the long haul, but is delicious right now. It's got a nice tannic backbone that provides an "oomph" while drinking, but doesn't strip the enamel from your teeth. There's enough of an earthiness to give it an older world aspect but it still speaks to its Cali roots. Yep, this is good... very good.

Big, bold, delicious, perfect tannin, nice complexity to balance the big fruit. Blackberry, earth, sage, nice finish. Yeah, I will probably get more of this.

This is the 4th day being open, drinking the last few ounces with a light chill, ideal temp. When cool, the aromatic has a floral, see breeze component. As it warms, the fruit emerges, with a moderate texture of ginger, peach and lime. The spicy citrus note continues into the finish. I continue to enjoy and heap praise onto Larry's whites, and this one like the C5, is terrific.

Needs air. Red fruit on palate though predominantly alcohol and pepper at this point. Missing freshness, acidity and pop of flavor from just a few months ago. I would find a reason and stop saving it for.....

Earthy, chewy, surprisingly little tannin on opening. Fruit forward but structured, just as Larry tends to make. Great with beef ribs.

Opened this yesterday. I really dig the aromatics on this, a smoky, flinty note. And based on what temp you drink this at, the wine will show a little differently. My wife like it best really cool, where it reflects a crisp, bright edge. When a little warmer, I tended to prefer it, as the lime skin, green apple and mandarin orange notes emerge. The acidity in this wine is charged up and the wine has a spicy, cool edge, both things giving me real pleasure when drinking. Such a great bottle again for 25 bucks.

Another Tercero white with tons of flavor that are, for me, more enjoyable at room temperature. Good stuff.

Another good showing from this wine, but clearly not up to the level of the other Tercero 2013 whites that I've tried lately (Grenache Blanc, Viognier, and Verbiage Blanc). Says more about the quality of these others than the Outlier, which is very good.

Shocked there is only 5 bottles in CT for this wine. This and the rosé are a staple around the house in the summer. Just solid on all four corners.

Perfect for sitting on the patio and sipping this chilled. Lots of tropical fruit and some lychee (don't know if that is a tropical fruit). Long finish. Great value.

I think this wine is peaking, so drink up. Slow-ox'd for 60 minutes. This is a dark wine. A hint of sweetness. Some tannins. A little herbal. After being open for 6 hours on Fathers Day, the wine was a little tangy. On day 2, the wine was slightly better. There's still wine leftover. Sigh. This was purchased at the tasting room with Larry.

Semi-translucent, orange-tinged magenta. Funky strawberry, dirt, and pomegranate nose. Medium bodied, very smooth entry, crushed cherries, leather, lots of pepper, well integrated tannins, sage, a bit of smoke and heat, and a relatively long finish that grows sweeter as it lingers. It has some very unique notes that are appreciated. Don't think it will get any better.

I hardly drink any whites from the US anymore but this is pretty good and interesting. A slight whiff of diesel on the nose that fades with air. Some floral notes too. On the palate the wine is soft textured but then finishes with crisp acidity. Some pear, melon and blanched almond.

Relatively dark crimson-magenta. Lots of strawberry, a bit of mushroom, and warm leather on the nose. Medium bodied, fresh raspberries, juicy tart cherries, well integrated tannins, spices, and a long sweet finish. Very well made and delicious.

Again, this becomes more flavorful and interesting as it warms to room temperature, with some tropical fruit notes, petrol in kind of a viscous package. Funny, when it was cool right from the fridge, this had a pronounced bitterness to it which disappeared as it warmed and became a bit sweeter.

Really evolving nicely but who ages rosé? Well, everybody probably should. The stone fruit is now embraced with more earthy and herbs. Very dry, no sugary sweet stuff here. World class rosé for the Francophile in all of us.

Super pale. Watermelon on the nose, tomato water and fresh bay leaf on the palate. More aromatic and more concentrated than most pinks, and the finish goes long. A stunner.
