The VA is a little distracting but there is good depth to the tones. The Full bodied feel is balanced, but the mid-palate is a little thing while the medium acidity is crisp and the medium+ tannins are youthful. The VA makes it tough to know where it will go with age. If it settles down and lets the mid-palate flesh out, this can really turn into a beauty. |

Big fruit and high acidity immediately followed up by a tannin backstop, amazing really. It does not taste like a Nebbiolo but the impact is similar. Hope to lay in a supply of this stuff !! |

Rose, rich cherry and macerated strawberry, mocha: there's a freshness alongside the richness and while it's luxurious on the palate with an appealing red-fruited sweetness, it's also got some structure. The 16.5% alcohol totally disappears. |

Hög klass som så bör, bra nu men kommer hålla minst 5 år till. Tror dock inte på se mycket mer utveckling. Vinet var idag för ”mycket” för en majskyckling med röd risotto. Kräver ost för att nå full potential samt gärna dekantering med >2h. |

Comes out of the bottle with a dark ruby red color, specifically not crimson. The initial nose is super difficult to judge given it has both extremely aromatic, fruit bomb elements with some overriding acidity that is not necessarily complimentary. Perhaps not surprisingly, a very long 30-36 month aging process results in some very complex flavors like dark cherry, figs, nutmeg and red licorice. The wine is highly extracted with high viscosity. But it’s not as good as others from Bussola that I’ve tried - I just don’t get the sense it’s as balanced, with some slightly misplaced acidity that creates a bit of heat that doesn’t make the wine better. Excellent craftsmanship, but simple not the best I’ve had from him (and “best” = world class). |

Baked dark fruits, dried apricot, caramelized coffee, pear tart with Bavarian cream, white chocolate, vanilla. All in harmony. Very long and silky finish. The essence of Amarone! Wow. |

It is not my preferred style of wine, but this is an excellnt wine in its style. Consumed over three nights, it was aerated and served one hour later on night one, stored in the fridge with access to air on both subsequent nights, and best on nights two and three. It has decent acidity, a mix of bright and dark flavors, lots of spiciness, and an intense earthiness. |
