2/17/2021 - chatters wrote: NRMargaret River Tasting (Bistro Cocotte, Haberfield): Blackcurrant, cassis, slight pyrazine, slight sweet spice, a touch of meatiness, cream, slight caramel. In the mouth it's juicy, savoury black fruits especially blackcurrant, talc textured tannins persist long, a little alcohol warmth on the finish but this is very silky and quite cabernet correct. Good, balanced and controlled. |

2/17/2021 - chatters wrote: NRMargaret River Tasting (Bistro Cocotte, Haberfield): Stone fruit, peach and a little apricot, floral top notes, a little meaty underpin, toast. Juicy, phenolic grip lends texture, lemon and apricot, quite tangy, slight alcohol warmth on the finish but rather nice. |

2/11/2021 - Jason Wu Likes this wine: NRSeriously great wine with quality oak spices, but way too early to drink. This bottle is sleeping and fails to reveal itself after 5 hours of decanting...I’m not gonna touch the rest of bottles in 3 yrs. |

1/30/2021 - Gdubya Likes this wine: 93 pointsDrunk over two nights. Better on day two, where it was more settled and showed some complexity. Close to ready to drink from now to 5y+. Although it’s my last of this vintage, sadly |

12/31/2020 - Wrighty Likes this wine: 93 pointsDrank prior to a Diana Madeline and very much the softer, more open of the two. Floral nose that had some wondering if it was OK. Still a lot of fruit but structure was softer so reckon it’s close to peak. Cassis and black currents still there with secondary notes coming through on the finish. Was gone too quickly and last bottle too. Lovel wine. |

12/30/2020 - Pverd wrote: 90 pointsNice elegant claret style Margaret river red. Nothing extracted, quite light on its feet with lifted olive and pencil shavings around a nicely mixed red/black fruit nose. Mid weight palate with very fine tannins, nice balance but is quite linear and not that complex. Not bad length on the palate. Not convinced this will get any better with age, though I am sure it will stay on this plateau for at least another 5 years. |

12/27/2020 - Solidgold Likes this wine: 92 pointsNever fail to please. 2018 has a little more floral and it’s also drier. Less syrupy but it does retain the buttery feel with a good finish. Make u crave for more. It has to be chilled super cold though. Still have more and will keep the reorder coming. |

11/29/2020 - lightning wrote: 92 pointsQuay lunch (Quay): Cedar and capsicum nose; elegant on the palate - light to medium bodied, red fruits with bold yet filigreed tannins, persistent and with great length. Promising, comfortably cellar for further positive development. I'd guess this would start to become very special with another 6-8 years in the cellar. |
