I was expecting the worst, but this was remarkably excellent.

Really fine line, great length and mouthfeel. Wonderful white burgundy, drinking really well, and youthful. The only drawback, is that this hasn't evolved much yet.

Disappointing Chambolle. Closed on the nose. Tannins still prominent on the palate and the finish is short. Leave for 5 years and pray that it improves

Not oxidized.

A little closed and dull at the moment. Plenty of lemon, with some oatmeally characteristics. Ok length, but lacking some energy and excitement.

Not great

Still very young but starting to drink a little better. With air the nose becomes seductive. You have to concentrate on the wine to hear it sing, but it's all in there if you look. Palate is still a little tannic. It if you chew the wine it becomes interesting. Leave for another few years before trying again

Another lovely magnum of this. Starts off a little rich but opens out beautifully. Fine tension and energy in the wine. Superb nose of classic Puligny and the palate is starting to match this level of excellence.

Stunning nose, which is wide open and full of fruit and earth. The palate has tons of structure, tannin and acid, but supported. Y plenty of fruit and extract. Plenty of years left in this.

Quite mature at this stage as most of the fruit has been eaten by the wine. intensely mineral with a wonderful line. Very pure and long on the palate but possibly lacking a little density

This bottle was a little wasted. Opened for fear of prem-ox, but this wine is ageing perfectly. Very young, packed full of fruit, complexity and extract. Almost too big and broad at the moment as the 2007 structure is hiding behind the big blowsey fruit at the moment. Very impressive, but it needs at least 5 years

Served blind. Not in a great place at the moment. Feels more like a 2003, rather than a 2005. Very fruity and upfront but seemingly lacking acidity and structure. Quite delicious but not what I would have expected. I think it best to leave this for another 5 years to hope that it gains complexity

Started off slow but after a few hours in the glass it outpaced the Jadot and Drouhin served alongside. Tons of matter and complexity in the wine, which shifted and changed in the glass over time. Gorgeous long creamy finish with crystalline red berry fruits

Really stunning nose, that one could smell all day. Great complexity, floral notes, crystalline fruits and some earthy /minerally notes. Tighter on the palate, as it comes across a little bitter and more simple than the Jadot & De Vogue served alongside. Drinking quite well at the moment, but plenty of upside potential.

Still young, but starting to show it's stuff. Lovely mouthfeel, with lightly sandy Jadot tannin. A crystalline core of sweet red fruit, floral violets and little hints of animal sous bois. Opens out and evolves nicely in the glass. Really enjoyable at the moment, but there is no doubt that this is built for the long haul (leave another 10 years). Better than the Drouhin but outclassed by the De Vogue

Again, this was the 04 not the 05. Really brilliant wine from Agrapart. Maturing nicely with notes of baked apples and bread, but wonderfully broad and structured yet with a fine line and great length. Lots to come with this wine, but lovely now
