Again very persistant with previous notes. Drink this cooled is so important - and rewarding. A great drinker now. This bottle actually seemed in better shape and could have lasted propably a few more years

Mouth: Very ripe dark fruit, tobacco, nice touch from anise, oak and vanilla seems well integrated at this stage. Strong mouth feeling and good length.

Drank over 3 days. Best on third day - making me believe that this could last much longer than anticipated 2016 stated here.

Nice deep red color.
Nose is packed with red berries, red currant, cherries and very ripe strawberries, red candy, tobacco (red orlic) and a nice sweetness.
Mouth following the nose. Nice dept, structured and with several layers. You feel the sweetness but kept well in balance with the rest.

Yellow in the glass. Thick
Nose is very honey, butter and hay. A small touch of ripe lemon
Mouth is somewhat overpowered by the alcohol. Enjoyed with salty and oily food deems the alcohol. You'll find ripe lemon, butter and some pepper.
It's an overall good bottle. Great nose and ok taste. The real drawback is the high alcohol.

Very consistant with previous notes. serving this cool is a must. served with duck breast, glaced pears and Jerusalem artichoke the wine didn't quite manage the challenge. Still a great wine, though.

Pale, yellow/green in the glass
Blackcurrant bush, thicket, hay, a little bit of smoke and gooseberries to the nose
Gooseberries and hay adding a little oil texture in the mouth making this a fine QPR bottle of wine.

Not as fruit driven as other German Rieslings. Instead of the tropical fruit, this encounters some very spicy notes peppery, ginger and a little lemon or maybe more like lime actually. In the nose, you also find a bit of elderly flower. Accompanying the spicy notes is a gravel like minerality keeping the tastes very fresh and precise. To me a bit atypical Rheingau with the lack of tropical fruits. Still a wonderful effort.

ok, this is a really nice riesling. And excellent QPR. all classic riesling with lemon and tropical fruits. But also a strong minerality and power in terms tobacco, salty and peppery notes. Very intense and long lasting. I only bought 4 bottles, should have been 40.
