1/3/2012 - Imoollan Likes this wine: 100 pointsNow, this is the stuff of legends and rightly so.i see one of the users wrote i will die i happy man for having had this wine, i second that. That botle was flawless and certainly the greatest wine I have ever had. Tasted at the same time as the 1947 cheval blanc and the cheval got a heavy trouncing. The power and elegance is riveting, the wine goes on for ever. Too good to analyse or describe. Truly a gem1 |

1983 Château Latour Grand VinPauillac Red Bordeaux Blend more |
12/24/2013 - Imoollan Likes this wine: 93 pointsA nice wine with a very soft and enticing nose. Rather weird for latour. Roses, lemons, salt and blueberries. But searing high levels of tanin but well counterbalanced by the substance of the wine. Needs meat but could be sumptuous. |

9/15/2013 - Imoollan wrote: 95 pointsWonderful colour, no bricking at all, slightly lighter colour if anything. A lush and vibrant cherry colour and all the tones of a wonderful musigny. Still very young and fresh on the nose, very mineral too. |

1982 Domaine des Comtes Lafon Meursault 1er Cru CharmesChardonnay more |
9/14/2013 - Imoollan Likes this wine: 96 pointsNow this is a giant wine, and a bit of an anecdote, 1982 being the last vintage vinified by the father before he passed the flag to his son. Intense purity of everything. The wine is still extremely present and subtle. Deep golden colour but no age on the colour. Same in the nose, aromas are deliniated and pure, whilst one nows it is a meursault, no deep nuttiness. The characteristic floral charmes aromas and some tropical fruits. Nice taste and long finish. No hurry to drink this one, still an infant... |

9/14/2013 - Imoollan Likes this wine: 93 pointsGreat colour, no deep hues but gold all round, superb puligny nose, intense and profound, not overly floral. This has settled and is starting to show some secondary notes, mushroom and deep fruits. Great length. |

7/19/2012 - Imoollan wrote: 95 pointsinteresting and powerful grand cru chablis, drinking well now but no hurry. ni detailed note or tasting, served as aperitif but deserves a light fish at the mount, nose and taste not as intense as one would expect from a chablis grand cru. wait? |

2/12/2012 - Imoollan wrote: 96 pointsmagnificent wine, profound and subtle. too young, starting to open but not ready. no greenness on the nose or in the color so should not be too long... wonderful color, gold but not overly so, very lush and brilliant. wonderful, dreamy nose, not overly opulent, quite restrained but charming, not the austere lemony flavors one might get. Rather very interesting mushroom, vanilla and hay. drink 2015-2030 |

Faded roses then red fruits and old paper bibou us smell, leather and wax. Taste goes on for ever, well over 10 mn. Totally in fume with the nose. A truly magical wine of great import. Srange stage in it's development, rather short but drinking very nicely. Lacks a bit of fat. Not sure it will keep for much longer. |
