12/20/2012 - east/west lush Likes this wine: 90 pointsPopped this bottle and decanted... color was a deep red with a nice fruit coming off the top. It is a very young wine and could smell a bit of alcohol coming off the top as well as pencil shavings. We decided to put back in the bottle and loosely cork and tried it again a day later. Wow what a difference this made! The fruit was very good and the wine was very smooth on the palate. I probably wont pop another until next year. Bottom line, let this wine decant for a few hours and you will be rewarded. |

Corked the bottle and put into cellar over night. Next day, aroma had developed some fruit and taste was much smoother with cherry finish. I am going to cellar the rest of my bottles for at least 2 yrs before I try another one. |

Deep red, nice fruit and smooth lasting finish... as it opened it got better. I have one more that I will open next year. Wish I had bought a case of this one! Paid $32 per bottle. |

Decided to decant for 60 minutes... petrol still there but lifting and fruit was ok...glass was still not good after 120 petrol was still there and fruit was almost non existent. Really disappointed. |

2/11/2011 - east/west lush wrote: 92 pointsClassic Bordeaux taste profile. What makes this unusual and more complex is the 20% blend of Petite Verdot. Will get better with age, but very pleasurable to drink now. Amazing I'm drinking this without food, but I'm looking forward to pairing this with a big piece of meat. |
