Elegant Oaked Chardonnay. Lots of fresh fruit in this 6 year old wine still with a nice finish and low acidity. If I could buy more of this I would!

I like this. Fragrant and delicate Pinot Noir, with a hint of Burgandy in there. Still young so would like to keep a bottle tucked away for a few years and watch it develop. I will be buying more of this.

Think this is great for £10. Old Bordeaux casis notes and opens up nicely after an hour.

Like no Spanish wine I have tasted before... very smooth & enjoyable. Only had a glass before jumping in a cab to catch a fight... wish I'd bought a bottle at the price (70 Euros) as this is a lot more expensive to source in the UK :(
Won't post a proper note as only had the 1 quick glass at the end of a long session. But it was good.

This was interesting. Creamy, buttery hint on the nose. Very smooth, soft and velvety in the mouth. Typical VC nuttiness with some slight sweetness. We found it enjoyable and a nice step up from the NV champagne (not VC) we had before. Went well with the sugared nuts we had on the table.

This was interesting, strong aged Chablis buttery nose with sweet honey and blue cheese! Slight acid bite on the palette, funky full flavour with some fruit still showing. Slight mineral taste. Very enjoyable aged Chablis.

Fantastic new world Chardonnay, lots of oak in this yet plenty of fruit and I like it. Burgundy like wine that is well structured and for £13.50 is fantastic value.

Not very complex but I found this smooth and not overly acidic as I had remembered it being when tasting this at Mercier. It went well with smoked salmon blinis.

Citrus fruit and pineapple galore on this. Big bite when first opened with lots of acidity I did not like, but then I did something different and decanted. The wine opened up and the acidity went and this turned in to a fabulous fresh and fruity Chablis.

This was opened to celebrate the life of Neil Armstrong, being a '69 moon landing vintage. On the nose it smelt like a sherry, very sweet. It changed within a couple of minutes in the glass to a point where it was not nice. So small glasses was the way forward with this one. Enjoyable to drink such an old wine.

Average Pinot Grigio, very drinkable for when you have non wine appreciating guests over and don't want to open a sneaky decent bottle. Fresh and fruity and good on a warm day.
