Still fresh and vibrant. Lively mousse, medium-fine bead. Strawberry/pomegranate palate. Fruit up front but nice dry finish. Glad I have 3 bottles left.

Surprisingly good. Just enough oak to give it some body without overwhelming the citrus and apple notes. Excellent pairing with crab/cream cheese filled pastry puffs.

Brought this to our family's annual "Wine Around the World" party and it won WOTN. Granted, the bar was not that high but it still won out over 9 other wines. Classic Rioja Tempranillo flavor profile.
Smooth, easy drinking with light oak and no tannins to speak of. Fruit forward but not a fruit bomb. Simple but enjoyable. Seems to be in its peak drinking window right now.

Happy to report that this bottle was drinking beautifully. Just starting to throw some sediment.
Complex dessert wine with all the flavor notes you would expect from Randy's non-LH Zins but with what seems to be the perfect level of sweetness in addition to the raspberry, bramble, mild oak and light tannins.

Popped this at midnight for our New Year's celebration. Bone dry with quickly evaporating mousse but persistent small bubbles in the glass. Brioche, pear, almond and marzipan on the palate. As it warmed slightly and we neared the end of the bottle, it seemed to open up a bit more to reveal some apple and citrus notes. Interesting and enjoyable, a great value for under $20.

Opened a bottle of this on New Year's Eve when the bubbly ran out. Interesting floral nose. Crisp and vibrant on the palate with flavors of fresh-picked pear, lime zest, wet stone and baker's yeast. Some white pepper on the finish with just the slightest hint of sweetness. Nice acidity and some minerality help pull it all together. Finished the bottle on New Year's day and it was just as good as the night before. Also, it paired well with pork roast and sauerkraut.

Dark purple in the glass with slow running legs. Black cherry and ripe plum on the nose with allspice, clove, vanilla creme and some heat from the alcohol.
Similar palate albeit less fruit than on the nose. The allspice is more pronounced and the clove notes become more anise-like. The tannins get quite grippy with a little air before smoothing out over time in the glass.
Never really did get that fig/raisin/prune flavor profile that I was expecting. Small amount of sediment present. Not very complex but pretty good overall albeit a bit different than most other Amarones I have tasted.

Candied cherry on the nose, somewhat similar to Gamay. Just a hint of sweetness upfront. Raspberry/strawberry cream on the palate with some white pepper on the finish.
Day 2 (re-corked overnight): Less fruit, more spice. Not detecting any sweetness and some tannins have developed. Quite a change from last night. Still enjoyable, just different.

Day 1: Drinking nicely. Tart cherry with some barnyard funk. Earthier and less fruit forward than a couple years ago. Pleasant spice notes throughout. Vacu-vin'd for 2 days....
Day 3: Deep plum color. Nose of cherry cream (mlf?), funk (wet hay?) and some alcohol. Pretty similar nose to what I remember from the other night but didn't notice the alcohol then. It's not real strong now but it's there. Has not changed much on the palate.
There is a creaminess to it yet at the same time I would say a "juicy" mouthfeel. Tart (but also slightly sour) cherry flavors combine with some vegetal/earthy/funky notes. Allspice on the entry all the way through the medium finish. Drink or hold up to 1-2 years.

I will echo what everyone else has said. Major coconut on the nose and palate. Reminiscent of Pina Colada. Cloudy, sweet and hot (strong) at 16.5% alc.
Tried this with some friends and everyone liked it at least a little. One person suggested mixing w/Vodka and pineapple. Another suggested diluting it with pineapple juice and ice.

Second bottle of this, really nice for the price. I was a bit worried though, as the fill line seemed a little low on this bottle (as well as a couple more in the cellar). Was even more concerned when the cork broke in half as I tried to open it.
Bottom half of cork was saturated. Used a corkscrew to extract it and it still gave a decent "pop", which was a good sign. Turns out the wine was fine (but I will still be drinking my other bottles sooner than later). Nice dry Rosé of Malbec with notes of black cherry, plum and light oak. Although the bubbles are sparse as others have mentioned, the mouthfeel is still frothy, the wine dances on the tongue and finishes with medium+ length. It's also a big crowd pleaser, gone in a flash!

Previous comments based on "Day 2" consumption. Found it to be much riper/fruitier this time. More like Bing cherry than sour cherry. No kirsch but otherwise similar to previous notes.
Went surprisingly well with spicy Buffalo chicken dip (which brought out a little peppery spice in the wine itself) as well as other assorted appetizers, it's very food friendly.

A bit thin and a little sweeter than expected but still enjoyable. Kind of grapey, almost as if there were some Concord blended in.
Maraschino cherry and the more traditional raisins, plums, figs and dates on the palate but none of the nutty or caramel flavors found in some Port wines.
