We put this up against a 1990 Las Cases, and the Las Cases won the battle. But it was an unfair comparison considering right vs left bank and big difference in age. But they paired very nicely together. Clearly a crowd pleaser and a real treat. |

Classic Pauillac aroma with hints of lead pencil on the nose. Full-bodied, gorgeously integrated texture. Cedar, graphite and brown sugar. Long finish. Perfect balance of fruit, acid and tannin. Wow. Forget about all the technical terms....this is simply "yummy"!!! |
