Closed at first but comes alive after 20 minutes and delivers very elegant notes of lemon, white flowers, some grass and a tiny dash of lime. Seamless and so very light. Personally want a bit more sweetness in a kabinett but there's no complaining about the craftmanship here.

Very good nose with orange, Loranga, toffee, caramel, nougat, vanilla and conserved nectarines. Funky and very vin nature. The palate is too light and the alcohol comes through a lot, for me it got almost undrinkable. Still an interesting wine, and the nose alone is worth the glass. More fun than genuinely good.

Great nose with blue-red fruit, cherries, fresh herbs and dark chocolate. The fruit gets too sweet and heavy on the palate for me, maybe it needs a few more years to fully integrate. Solid structure so with more time perhaps it will come together. Nose>palate.

Pretty dark fruit, almost blueberry and plum along with the raspberry sweetness. Stem and sweet liquorice brings complexity and balance on the palate. Elegant and serious, had this blind and could easily have gone for a Burgundy Premier Cru-quality wine. Impressive and definitely worth to seek out.

Elegant and delicate appearance in the glass, beautiful. Sweet red fruit, very clean nose after a few minutes in the glass when most of the funky notes has dissapeared. Apart from a few green notes there is pretty much all about the red fruit, balanced and dangerously drinkable. My first red from this producer and it's pretty much like I expected stylewise, well made.

Gorgeous nose with sweet dark fruit, perfectly balanced sweetness. Rhubarb, powded sugar, moist earth, green herbs and much more. Definitely feels like a serious pinot that, though it's very young, still has a lot to offer at this stage. Elegant mouthfeel, soothingly cool fruit, earth, vanilla and touch of spice in the aftertaste. Very good, highly drinkable and decent qpr.

Deep dark fruit, blue-ish. Plum, sour cherries, dark chocolate, licuorice, dark olives and much more in that category. Really a gorgeous nose, grows with time in the glass, layers. Pretty bold structure on the palate, cherries dominates. Young tannins but on the juicy side, definitely approachable. Seems to be a big difference in vintages here, doesn't really follow the area in general. Fascinating winemaker and a wine with big personality.

Gorgeous nose right from the start, turns out we were very lucky with this bottle, perfect condition. Mushroom, moist leaves, rosehip and leather dominates from the decanter. After 3 hours deep notes of maturity, lots of rosehip, roses, undergrowth, truffle and crushed overmatured strawberries. Energetic acidity on the palate, amazing considering the age. The aftertaste is not long but very nice with rosehip, undergrowth, leather and a hint of strawberry sweetness. After 6-7 hours it starts to fade and appears a bit hollow on the palate. Overall a simply stunning bottle of mature Barolo, elegant and refined. Striking acidity and energy in this bottle, my guess is it would have no problem surving another 10 years or so. Grateful.

Gorgeous Sangiovese-nose. Mature cherries, chocolate, coffee, leather, gravel road, green herbs and much more. Deep and complex, very good. Nice acidity on the palate, lacks a bit of fruit from the mid- palate and forward. Short-medium long aftertaste. Overall very good and a joy to drink, only downside is the lack of fruit on the palate. Drink up.

Very reductive nose at first. Funk, moist, soap, horse stable etc. After one hour in the decanter a totally different story. Blackcurrant, blackberry, bacon fat, green fresh herbs, green olives and some light meat. In a way a very classic Syrah-nose, only made in a funky vin nature kind of way.
Lightweighted on the palate but not without power or energy. Fine, young tannins takes a firm hold of the aftertaste. Also blackcurrant bunches, fresh herbs, some sweet liquorice and light meat. Not sure about cellaring this, made for drinking the coming years imo. Like the style a lot.

Inconsistent performances from this wine. Liked it when released but have from that point gotten worse apart from a great bottle a couple of month ago that transformed into a gorgeous Riesling after a night in the fridge. This bottle had sharp edges and lemon driven fruit with some green apples. Followed it during 3 days without improvement. Day 3 the nose is more muted and smooth, white flowers, pears and a hint of tropical fruit. Pronounced acidity that overwhelms the fruit, find it getting a bit sour at the end. Not a fan of this vintage and I'm not that optimistic for the future.

Find myself liking this wine less and less. The nose is great, beautiful fruit, stony minerality, fresh and flirtatious. It's the fruit on the palate that doesn't fit my taste at the moment, gets sour and the blood orange-like acidity is too aggressive and young imo. Of course this is what distinguish the wine from many others out there and what attract many winedrinkers, just not me.
