11/6/2016 - jimkay21 wrote: 91 pointsHolding up well. A little blackberry on the nose. Palate is smooth but alcohol (14.4) is present. Finish is little watery, but 13 bucks so pretty good. Exceeds the price point. Really enjoyable, |

7/13/2016 - jimkay21 wrote: 88 pointsGreat color, deep garnet, no browning, Bordeaux nose of graphite and earth. Medium bodied and round palate. Black fruit, brisk acidity on the finish. Fruit is probably fading but still enjoyable. A small amount poured up into a second bottle and held for the next day was just as good. Really good showing for a "minor" Bordeaux |

6/3/2016 - jimkay21 wrote: 87 pointsI use this wine as a barometer for Bordeaux. It shows up in a local grocery store each year at $10/btl. This year's was good. Pleasant floral nose, sour cherry and cassis palate of medium depth. Short finish. A good bottle to introduce people to Bordeaux without having the price tag scare them away. |
