After an hour and a half the tannins became more noticeable. At the 2.5 hour mark the tannins had subsided and the oak and fruit were most enjoyable. Definitly see the violets and blueberries that Pierre noted. No rush to open the rest. |

Shared with Marc and Sammy at dinner. Remarkably youthful for such an old wine. A wonderful old wine nose but the fruit, although subdued was still there. Still showing some of that jammy quality. Three more bottles, but no big rush. |
