I had a taste of this and it was terrific. The grape, place, ripeness, all were in balance. The age was not a thing I thought about, because it was perfectly complex like a ripe plum, but not sweet, fat, hot, or heavy.

I've tasted a lot of wines like this that I have a case of and they disappoint me early on and don't come into themselves until they integrate the pine and green pepper resins. This one still has too much green pepper, and with time I have personally seen this yucky turn into ,,,gone and good wine.

Chocolate, eucalyptus leaning toward mint with a good level of acidity; bright alone, and could stand up to any rich food. It's dark, and very expressive through and aromatically complex. A lingering tannic grip softly hangs on, in a nice way.

In cellar with temps between 52-61F, from vineyard, not touched until today.

This bottle was far more open than last bottle I tasted 3 yrs ago. The tannins are integral to the wine and offer support to the dark red Pinot fruit. Decent complexity.

This drank surprisingly well, it reminded me of the pencil sharpener, cassis, chalky dust, and velvet.

This was far less mature than I had expected, likely a reflection of the Magnum format, and that it's been in cellar since release. The flavor reminded me of a 2008 Keenan Cabernet I tasted a few years ago that was yet to integrate the tannins and oak. Additionally, aromatics of the fruit was still primarily fresh, like it was just bottled a couple of years ago.

Tasted a little past its prime, shoeing dusty grilled notes. Terrible packaging, the 75cl bottle is almost as big as a magnum.

Over the top extracted fruit seemed a bit unbalanced to me, nonetheless, a crowd pleaser. The fruit tasted very primal and in need of further maturation and integration.

Young and vibrant with loads of cassis and structure. Just beginning to to show a little integration. I only tasted because I have 14 more, and plan to keep most under cork for decades to come.

This was absolutely delicious and finally out of its post bottling slumber and it showed both Nuits and Vosne characters. It was spicy and vibrant with warm dark fruits.

Ruby garnet color in my glass right now.
This bottle emotes secondary aromatics right now, with hints of both primary and secondary aromatics.
I get Asian five spice, ripe black cherry, and a little funk that reminds me of the grill a day after a big steak cookout on extra high heat!
Tannins were warm and textured, Improved after 2 hours open.

I was shocked, thinking the bottle would be dead. No, it was alive, and enticing. Think about savory spices, a bit of dark fruit, and tongue coating flavors, and perfumed aromas.

I scored this higher than I like this because the other person loved this bottle.
The tannins were cranked down tight, like a head lock on my tongue. The was nothing bad about the bottle, it improved after a day of air. For me, I'll keep this for years before opening another. It's packed dense with so much, and it's just coming together still.
One caveat, I could see opening this with vigorous aeration, and lots of fat, e.g. butter and prime grade beef.

Lots of deep savory fruit and tannins that dig in a bit, not too deep though. Very ripe, and no candy, which I like. Wines that have sugar are for dessert, like old port, and Sauternes, and Tokaj balanced by vibrant acidity. This one had a dry ripe fruit that was present without the sweat sugar because it didn't need it.

This gets better everytime I open a another bottle as the oak integrates and the dark fruit comes out and starts to show its nuance and Can character.
