Ruby red color with an aging edge. Aired in decanter for three hours. A bit closed just after opening. After some time it opens up and delicious aromas of cherries, red berries, earth, tobbaco, leather and almond comes through. Good concentration and structure. Nice balance and good acidity. The tannins are now well integrated. This is bottle no. eight of twelve and definately the best I have had from this vintage. I doubt it would become better. Served with filet of Venison with redwine sauce and root vegetables. Again, a very good match.

Aired for three hours. Ruby red color with a hint of orange edge. Very closed and tight. Some aromas of spice, cherries, dark red berries, earth, tar, wood and forest comes through after some time, but it is not even near the delicious fruit and berry aromas that we had with the 2004 Barbaresco Riserva. The tannins are still quite noticeable. The fruit is in the background whilst forest floor and earth is more dominant. I am not sure whether it's an odd bottle or just needs more time to bring out the fruit. It is definately not there yet.

Tasted at Banshee Wines. Light pale pink color.
Herbs, minerals and lime. Light style with hints of fresh strawberries, light fruit and flowers on the nose. Smooth and pleasant.

Tasted at Banshee Wines. Nice straw yellow color.
Yellow apples, tropical fruit, peach, lychee, citrus and slightly mature gooseberry. After a while also dried figs and macadamia nuts. Nice texture, balanced and medium length.
30% in French oak and 70% in steel tanks. Natural storage in casks, no toasting. Only 5% new barrels. A delicious sauvignon blanc.

Fennikel, steinfrukt, voks, hvit asparges, kalk, mineraler og noe nøttetoner på nese. Bra munnfølelse med sitrus, smør og valnøtter, litt heftig syre, medium lengde og bra finish.
Definitivt bra matvin som vill passe godt til gratinerte skalldyr.

Luftet en time i dekanter. Noe reduktiv i starten, sitrus og lime ellers lite frukt, mer nøtter og smørtoner, noe eik og hint av tropisk frukt etterhvert, mineralsk med et snev av kalkstein. Fin rund munnfølelse etter litt tid i glasset. Fin syre, medium pluss lengde. Lett bitterish ettersmak. Denne blir bedre og bedre, trenger mye luft. En veldig bra Meursault fra en topp produsent.

Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru "Les Caillerets" 2009
Luftet en halv time i dekanter. Fin, lett mørk strågul farge med noe antydning til aldringstoner. Noe reduktiv til å begynne med. Sitrus og tropiske frukter, smør som går tydelig over mot smørmalt etter noe tid i glasset. Deilig munnfølelse med sitrus, steinfrukt, annanas, etterhvert klare smørtoner og malt. Fin syre og medium pluss lengde med bra finish. Etter to timer i dekanter har den utviklet seg ytterligere nå
med tydeligere karamelltoner, mandarin og lett søtlig nektarin.

Igjen en helt ny vinopplevelse med tydelige fjøstoner ved åpning. Luftet i karaffel i tre timer. Aromabilde preget av fjøstoner, stall, kirsebær, tre og skogbunn. Veldig spesiell vin med god snerp i munnhulen, føles som det er en blanding av nebbiolo og amarone. 16% alkohol er mye men det kjennes likevel ikke så skjemmende på grunn av den tydelige frukten i vinen. Dette er en ren matvin som passer til vilt med litt heftige sauser. Servert til rådyrfilet med pastinakkpure, smørstekte rosenkålblader, aromasopp og portvinsaus. Veldig bra match.

Luftet to timer i karaffel. Sitrus, smørtoner, toffee, voks, nøtter og mineraler på nese. På gane sitrus og grapefrukt, smørtoner og nøtter. Godt integrert syre med litt bitter syrlighet i finish. En deilig Meursault servert til gratinert sjøkreps med estragon smør.

Lys murstein farge, med brune oransjetoner, transparent og krystallklar.
Dette må være bortimot en perfekt flaske. Overraskende spenstig på nese, starter med tørket frukt, modne markjordbær, trøfler og nøtter. Reisen fortsetter med svisker, røyketoner, pipetobakk, mer tørkede bærfrukter, medisinskap, lær, kompost, røykt kjøtt, treflis og lakris. I munnen er dette en reise i fløyel, sømløs, saftig og deilig klokkeren frukt, elegant mineralitet, hint av skogbunn, nøtter og trøfler. Flott syrebalanse og nydelige integrerte tanniner. En herlig finish. Servert til steinsopprisotto som var hånd i hanske. Dette er en primadonna. Vi sparte noe til etter maten, da snerper den faktisk litt igjen, denne tåler enda noen år i kjelleren. Dette er nebbiolo på sitt aller beste.

Nytt spennende bekjentskap. Vermentino, 30 dager på drueskall gjør at dette nærmest blir noe midt i mellom hvitvin og oransjevin. Derav også fargen som er mørk gul og tenderer mot oransje. Luftet fire timer på karaffel. Ikke filtert, minimalt med svovel. Perlende ved åpning og fremtredende stall og fjøs på nese.
Modne epler, litchi, tørket aprikos, vått høy og varme toner som går over til lett klorstikk uten at det oppleves som ubehagelig. Varme stikkelsbær, langt flott mineralsk preg med en noe bitter steinfrukt i finish. Dette er en vin med sterkt terroirpreg, den kjennes nesten litt arrogant ut. Utvikler seg videre i glasset. Middels syre og den oppleves som frisk og balansert på gane selv om det er mer modne frukter på nese. Vanskelig å sammenligne mot andre viner. Dette er noe du enten liker eller misliker. Typisk matvin, god match til stekt ørret med aroma og østerssopp, bakte rødbeter og basilikumsaus laget på hvitvin og fløte.

Aerated two hours in decanter. Delicious nose of dark berries, liquorice, spice, herbs and flowers. On the palate lots of dark fruits, crushed berries, pomegranate, nice integrated tannins, some oak notes and and very good acidity. Medium length, concentrated, nice structure and somewhat sweet finish. A complex and balanced wine that will gain from further storage. A very pleasant wine that I will definately buy more of.

Brick red with incipient orange border. Somewhat closed at first but opens up gradually with beautiful aromas of plum, soft fruit and ripe strawberry jam. Some oak tones and gradually hint of herbs, tobacco, forest floor, hazel nuits, truffle and liquorice. On the palate ripe soft fruit, dark plums and some oak. Medium acidity, comfortable integrated tannins and good length. A delicious and incredibly elegant barolo from FC. Paired with lamb carre covered with hazel nuits, a perfect match and wonderful lunch at Ciau de Tornavento in Treiso.

Clear light ruby ​​color. Fruity aromas of cassis and red berries that turns over to strawberries after some time in the glass. Fresh and light on the palate, cool fruit with flavors of cranberry and red fruits, hints of licorice and some dark spices. Good structure, soft tannins and a long fruity aftertaste, delightful cellar touch. A delicious Grignolino.

Natural wine made from 80-100 years old vines. Blend, 90% Grenache and 10% Carignan. Ruby red colour. Aerated an hour in decanter. Stall, smoke and dark fruit on the nose in the beginning. More accessable after some time in the glass and more savoury fruit shows up. Fresh and young red fruit on the palate, hints of rhubarb, spice and tar. Complex and well balanced. Nice acidity and very good length. Served with homemade burgers.

Aerated an hour. Somewhat pale ruby red colour. A bit closed in the beginning. Opened up in the glass. Impressive aromas with lots of mature dark fruits, blackcurrant, warm spices and forest floor. On the palate it followed on with mixed dark berries, dried tomatoes, herbs and mushrooms. Nice concentration and complexity. Perfect acidity and integrated tannins. A very delicate and elegant wine. Paired with duck.

This wine is made from albarossa grapes which is a crossing between nebbiolo and barbera. Aerated in decanter an hour. Ruby-red colour, with violet tones. A bit closed in the beginning, opened up after some time in the glass. Aromas of red berries, oak, pepper, liquorice and tobacco. Very well balanced, medium tannins, nice acidity, complex and full bodied wine. Very good wine. Served with confit of duck.

After some time in the glass it opened up and more delicate fruits came through. However, on the palate it didn't follow on. Dry, medium body. Medium acidity and integrated tannins. Short length. The wine is not bad but certainly not what I expected. May be this was an odd bottle.
