No mistaking its Old World origin. Firm flavors offer a nice sweet/savory mix with tart cherries and exotic spices. With time the wines seems to change its flavor complextion from black to red and it seems to become more focused and narrow with a beam of red plum skin and bright acidity. I don't have much experience with these but my call would be to drink sooner rather than later. Now - 2012. |

Unusual medicinal nose with some licorice and incense. Tight, tart and brittle flavors offered little pleasure.
