4/22/2024 - z747gdgh45 Likes this wine: 94 pointsReally tasty. Almond croissant, hazelnut, cake. Smooth, velvety sweetness followed by pleasant heat on the mid palate, long finish of nuts and stewed red fruits. Medium acidity that balances well. Big fan of this random pickup I got to make cocktails initially. |

1/4/2021 - jay.lawrence@att.net Likes this wine: 92 pointsI love Yalumba's Tawny Ports and although more expensive than many Tawnys from Yalumba that I've enjoyed in the past, this version did not disappoint. Light enough to drink alone but rich enough to stand up to Blue Cheeses and Sharp Cheddars. This is a real winner as the sweet fruitiness of plums, dates, raisins and apricots inundate your taste buds with a honey like sweetness as an aftertaste. |

7/4/2020 - TannicBeast Likes this wine: 93 pointsI've had this bottle since 2014 and it is still drinking beautifully. Great by itself or with a chocolate dessert. An exotic blend of Touriga, Muscadelle, Tinta Molle, Tinta Cao, Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvedre. Deep amber to pale tawny, with some sediment. Intense caramel, mocha, chocolate, dried figs, hazelnuts, dried cherries. The palate is lusciously sweet, somewhat balanced by the med (+) acidity and med (-) tannin. Full-bodied, with pronounced flavor intensity and a long finish. Best served cool. It is drinking beautifully now and is quite age worthy. A great value. |

10/4/2019 - Keith Cooper Likes this wine: 87 pointsTasted at Auriol dinner, Hampshire, UK, featuring Vasse Felix wines. In the absence of a suitable Vasse Felix dessert wine, this was served instead. Chestnut brown colour. Sweet nose, woody. Palate is rich, sweet, long, chestnut. |

Brownish orange but fairly vivid, looking and tasting somewhat caramelized, accompanied by notes of molasses, walnuts, and slightly burnt orange peel. Viscous but lively. Straightforward, yummy, excellent for the price. |
