9/29/2021 - PhN Likes this wine: 89 pointsPN goes through cycles of drinkability. I am used to putting bottles aside when the one I opened seemed off, as the earlier reviewers describe. As luck would have it, I opened this bottle tonight and warned by the earlier reviews, I left it sit open to air. The wine is high in acid but otherwise balanced with adequate fruit and tannin. It is not a great wine, but went well with our pasta with a cream sauce. |

The color is dark, almost purple, but you can still see your two fingers. Subdued, still young black cherry and blackberry fruit that could really use a decant. The acid likewise could use some bottle age or a decant. The mouth feel and viscosity is pure Oregon. The tannins are soft and subtle. Blackberry and light minerality on the finish. |
